Lily yawned and stretched like a cat as the morning light filtered through the tent. Glancing over, she could tell that Jay was still sleeping, a small smile on his lips. She smiled slightly before getting out of bed and padding over to her clothes. As Lily slipped them on, she quietly mulled over the past few days. She felt as though things were moving very fast all of a sudden and that the war which had dragged on for nearly a decade would soon be over. "Don’t go," Jay whined as she finished strapping on her weapons.
"I'm just going to the mess tent to get some food before everyone else wakes up," she replied. "Do you want me to get you something?"
"Yes please," Jay happily said. "And if you have time, could you please check on Diana? When I went to bed, she was patrolling."
"Is she in one of those moods again?" Lily asked. This is happening way too often, I need to talk to her.
"Probably, but I didn't ask."

Diana stood in the meeting tent, shifting uneasily from side to side. The tent was filled with snatches of conversation as the generals speculated wondering why there was a meeting called so soon after the previous one. There had been something wrong last night, even though nobody saw anything. But her sixth sense hadn't been wrong yet and she was concerned. Scar spoke, startling her out of her thoughts.
"I was looking for you. Lily has Samuel, Micah, and Zeke and she is heading on a warpath towards you. When I saw her, she was muttering something about you not getting enough sleep and wearing yourself out constantly."
"Oh," Diana said in an undertone. "Really Jay? You just couldn't keep that little tidbit to yourself?" Scarlett surveyed her critically. Diana flinched underneath her gaze. She knew that she looked terrible and felt as good as she looked, but there was no need to assume such things.
"Although, I have to agree with her in this case. You look exhausted, bags and everything included. When you're done with both meetings, you will be taking a long nap."
"But I don't have the time for such things…"
"You will make time," Scar huffed, "Or so help me, I will get a few of the other generals to help me give you a sleeping potion. Or better yet, get Zeke to knock you out."
"Who am I knocking out?" Zeke asked with an amused smirk. He had heard most of their conversation and had to agree with Scar. Diana looked exhausted, her normally bright emerald gaze looked dull and her face seemed to have aged ten years overnight.
Diana spun around and glared as a bright blush made its way up her cheek. "No one," she said forcefully, while Samuel and Micah tried to muffle their laughs. Their shoulders shook as she turned her glare to the two of them and they immediately stopped. "Now if the two of you are done giggling, I need to go start a meeting," she hissed, turning her back and storming into the crowd. No one wanted to get in her way and the crowd parted for her as she made her way up to the stump.
Diana started the meeting and Zeke compared the meeting to the ones the Resistance held. Although the Resistance meeting were much more orderly, with less shouting, talking, and discussion, the only ideas expressed were the Commander's own, and everyone followed his commands. In this meeting, people were allowed to express opinions, whether they were actually implemented was up to Diana. The meeting was much less formal, with more laughing and teasing. He couldn't help but enjoy these meetings more. "... And now I would like to introduce the general and his soldiers," Diana said, breaking through his thoughts. Zeke looked up to see everyone gazing expectantly at him waiting for him to speak.
