"You sure you can handle Mic's patrol for the week?" Toshi asked. "It's a step up from your woods."

"Listen, I got this. He needs to be home for now. It's not like I've never fought a villain before. Shota's patrol is near mine too." She sat down on the top of a building overlooking a section of the city. "Worried about me All Might?"

"A tad." He laughed. "I'm not that much of a use, but I will give hell to anyone who messes with you."

"So will Shota. No worries. It's only for a few more days as it is."

"And I'll call you every day until it's over."

"Well I appreciate it, but I have to get back to you know, patrolling the area."

"Alright, send me a text when you're finished or stop by. I may be up."

"Will do!"

She hung up the phone and jumped off the building landing on an old fire escape. Patrolling the city was more intense than the woods but it wasn't her first time doing so. She'd done so as favors to other hero's when needed. A few villains here and there were fought and arrested. It had been over a year though since she had done this, and this time the stakes were higher.

The league of villains had been keeping an eye on Tigris for some time due to her quirk and its abilities. This made Toshi and Shota very nervous, not because she can't defend herself but being easily outnumbered.

The night went on smooth and she kept herself entertained with sights, sounds and smells of the nightlife. Every once in awhile she's spot Shota from a distance and gave a wave before continuing on.

As her shift came to a close she began wandering the ally's for a final check of her area.

Down one ally a tiny meow caused Tigris to investigate. She smelled around until a brown and white kitten waddled out from behind a cardboard box.

"Well hey, there little guy." She smiled at him.

The kitten waddled up to her and smelled her shoe.

She couldn't smell any others nearby or a mother either. The only other animal smell was a few dogs that seemed to pass through.

"I don't know how you got through here all by yourself, but you don't have to be alone anymore." She bent down and picked him up.

"Animal lover I see." A voice spoke.

She turned around to see a strangely dressed man walking down the ally. She was unfamiliar with who he was and kept a close eye on his actions. The bald man wore a uniform that was grey and black with red and green cuffs around his wrists.

"Animals are disgusting." His tone changed.

"Uh, I like animals? I mean, this little guy is cute."

"Oh he's adorable! Little bean toes and tiny tail!" He gushed. "Something that belongs in the animal shelter."

"Well, I might take care of him."

"You seem like a good person to do that with your animal quirk and all! I'm sure he'll be super happy!"

"Uh, yeah — do I know you?"

"No, but I know you, little lady."

She sighed, "Am I going to have to kick your ass?"

"Hah! You wish you could kick this ass! No, you, my dear animal lover, will be coming with me." He glared at her, "But you can bring your little friend with you!"

"Yeah, not happening." She placed the kitten in a box. "Here's what's going to happen, either you leave or I kick your ass. I'm feeling nice tonight."
