"Thanks for the tracksuit...it's...a lot more comfortable than that gown..." Tigris fiddled with the bottom of the soft material.
"We have extras everywhere at school." Aizawa crossed his arms. "Whatever keeps you in this bed."
"Yeah, I'm sorry I tried to run off." She went to rub the back of her head but was stopped by the IV getting caught lightly. "If you can't tell, I don't like this sort of confinement."
"And..." Shota dragged out.
"And I was trying to get to Hizashi..."
Toshi placed a hand on her shoulder, "He'll be here in due time. Classes are still in session today. You're lucky we're even here."
"I'm lucky you're my emergency contact." She sighed. "So now that I'm settled, what the hell is going on?"
Toshi sat down and pulled his chair closer to her bed side. "Well my dear, what do you remember last?"
"Taking that bomb out of the atmosphere. Everything is white after that. I woke up head to toe in hospital gear."
"Then I'll fill in for you." He adjusted his voice. "You were brought to the hospital, dead. You were dead for 13 minutes, then they brought you back. You began to lose it, and went nuts fighting the nurses. Your body was badly injured, very badly, and doing that didn't help you. After knocking you out you had 3 surgeries. David, you remember him, from America, we contacted him about your condition to which he developed two things for you. Number one, in your first surgery he integrated small mechanical wires that make your bones heal but allow you to change into your animals at the same time. Number two, he developed a wrap for your neck to keep you from changing in the mean time so you don't further hurt yourself."
"Is that why I couldn't change? I tried to change into a cheetah to out run Sho but, I couldn't move." Tigris placed her hands on her neck and felt a a neck wrap about an inch in length that wrapped around her neck. It had a velvet texture to it. "I — I want this off...can I take this off?"
"We can't —"
"Please, it's reminding me of — the shock collar..." She hugged herself.
Toshi and Aizawa looked at one another before nodding. All Might stood up and placed his gently hands on her head moving her hair and pushing a small button on the back causing the wrap to release. It fell off into her hands.
"Don't lose it. I don't want you to leave this building without it." Toshi warned. "If you change at this point in healing you're going to really hurt yourself. Your bones aren'ready."
"Alright, I won't change." She paused. "What happened to my lab? My class?"
Shota spoke up, "Your lab is fine, your work is fine. I took it upon myself to get your paperwork out of there. None of your work was touched. Not even that 'None for All' stuff. Your class was taken over by a sub for the rest of the year."
"Am I...in trouble?"
"No, you're not. It was deemed that you had no control over your actions. Several of us spoke on your behalf and for you."
"And you Sho? Are you okay? I know I roughed you up..."
"Nothing I can't handle, and just in case you were wondering, Hizashi was hurt. I've never seen him that bad."
"Oh no what did I do to him?" She sulked.
"It wasn't you it was just everything." He saw how upset she was and leaned closer to her, "You can't blame yourself. You're a hero, you saved U.A. and countless lives. He's literally walking, teaching and talking more than ever."
