All Might rushed through the woods with Tigris in his arms talking to her, even if she couldn't hear him.
"I need you to stay here with me. If it's not my time it's certainly not yours."
The sound of people began filling his ears as he reached the roadside.
"Hey, there's All Might!" A student called out.
All cheered him on as he rushed towards the road. The students were a ways away from him but a figure as large as he was hard to miss.
The only person close to them was Hizashi who was a mess and ready to pass out.
"Mic?" All Might spoke up.
"Tigris! Is she okay? Is she alive?!" Mic pulled down at Toshi's arms to get a better view of her.
Toshi couldn't help but feel heartbroken as the lack of strength Mic had left in his body.
"Take her. I'm going to make sure an ambulance shows up."
He handed the Nature hero off to the Loud hero who cradled her body in his arms. "Tigris..."
"It's no use Mic, she's unconscious."
"I — I can't feel her breathing. Why isn't she breathing?"
"Hizashi I need you to remain calm, for her. Freaking out won't stop her from — never mind. Just stay here I'm getting help."
Hizashi's breathing slowed down as tears fell from his eyes. He gazed at her, thinking she was still beautiful even though her condition was awful.
"You're a real hero, Tigris. A way bigger hero than me or anyone else, you hear me?" He tried not to weep. "You're going to get through this and we're going to live a big happy life together. We are. I promise. Did I ever tell you I wanted kids? I want a ton of kids with you. I want a big house too," He wiped his face on his sleeve. "We're going to get you better so you can keep being a professor and you can show everyone you're not a monster. I know you have so much more to give."
"Hizashi!" Shota called out.
Just after he called for him the sound of fire trucks and ambulance alarms grew louder in his ears.
All Might stopped in his tracks for a moment thankful he didn't have to drag an ambulance there. He continued on through with something else in mind at this point.
"Hizashi, there's an ambulance coming this way." Shota slowed up as he approached the two. "Tigris..."
"We can't lose her, yo." Mic wiped his eyes. "We just can't, man."
"We're not going to." Shota placed a hand on his shoulder.
"She's just —"
"Stop talking, you need to go to the hospital too. That adrenaline won't last forever. You're almost as hurt as she is." Shota turned and waved the ambulance closer to them.
Hizashi knew one thing, Shota was right. His concentration stayed on Tigris but there was something about the ambulance arriving that sent a calmness over him. Knowing for a fact they'd take good care of her lifted weight off his shoulders. Time passed quickly yet slowly as two men rushed a gurney over to Tigris. He freely let her go, staring at her unresponsive body all emotion draining from him. The EMS workers yelled to one another to get this and that but all of it was muffled to Mic.
Another one suddenly appeared in front of him asking him questions and waving his hand in front of his face. The words came out muffled as well and all he could do was stare up at the man.
