The date was better than either had imagined and from that point forward they began talking more frequently and hanging out more casually.

A month had gone by with Toshi and Shota on edge over the status of their "Friendship". They hid their relationship fairly well leaving the only evidence of continuous paperwork delivery. Shota allowed it, thinking he'd find out more from it. His frustration grew with the lack of information as well as Toshi's.

One evening, in particular, Shota was at his wit's end with the entire situation. He decided it was time to go further to investigate what was going on. After calling both Hizashi and Tigris with no reply he paid a visit to each of them, starting with Tigris.

Shota knocked on her door and waited for 20 minutes. He gave up and decided to look through her windows, starting with the balcony. Perched on the iron gate he peered into the darkened house with nothing more than a single light on in the kitchen.

"Where the hell could she be?"

While he stood in thought he gazed around the neighborhood behind him until something became oddly familiar.

"Yamada's home?"

Laughter erupted in Hizashi's home as the couple were tossing fish crackers across the room to see who could catch the most in their mouths.

"16!" Tigris cheered.

"What! That's not fair!"

"What? It's completely fair."

"Says the lady with the frog tongue. Catch these fish like a REAL MAN." He crossed his arms.

"And who do you want me to call for that, Toshi?"

"Ah jeez, low blow, sweets. Take this!" Hizashi grabbed a handful of crackers and tossed them at her.

She blocked them with her arms, laughing, "Hey! I won't be cleaning those up you know."

"I know, I will, and I don't care!"

He began to chase her from the kitchen to the living room, then around the couch.

"I'll change!"

"Fat chance! You're not in your hero uniform."

"HAH! That doesn't scare me!" She suddenly turned into a snake, her clothing and herself slapping against the floor.

Hizashi blushed a bright red and he bent down toward her clothing. If she were to change back without her uniform she'd be straight up naked.

"Doc, I hope you're not going to turn back." He began looking under his couch for Tigris, but no snake was found. "Not that like — you're ugly or anything just — you'd be — you know — like —"

Tigris slithered up behind him and onto his leg. He jumped almost stepping on her, but not stopping her.

"DOC!" He yelled, his quirk activating slightly. "You have to stop sneaking up on me like that!"

After a month of dating, he learned how to properly handle certain animals she'd turn into, including a snake. He unraveled her from his leg and held her out. She stared at him flicking her tongue out.

"Dude you look like Aizawa's rope scarf except like — more noodly." He placed her back down near her clothing. "Change back, we should start our movie soon if you want to be back by 12."

Nature slithered back into her clothing while Hizashi went into the kitchen to grab snacks. As she transformed back all her limbs went into place, but her horn caught on her shirt.
