Plot: Noho Hank joins Gene Cousineau's acting class for a hobby (and y'know... to get closer to Barry). Gene wants the class to perform a scene from any play or a scene that they wrote themselves. Hank writes a special scene for him and Barry to perform. Sally and Barry get into a little bit of conflict.
Part 3
As Hank wakes up, he is reminded of the scene that he wrote for Barry and himself. He curls up in his warm bed, hugging his blanket tight, thinking of Barry behind him, spooning him with his arm over Hanks waist. He lays he there for 10 minutes thinking of cute scenarios with Barry, the loud world slowly. Some of these include dancing to a slow song in his bedroom, looking up at Barry's face, because Barry was in fact, considerately taller then Hank and just being that close to Barry's warm muscly body, and dropping his head into the small dip in his shoulder shaped for someone's head to lay there perfectly. As he was thinking of these scenarios, he grew more and more sad, because there was no way that Barry would ever do something like that with someone like Hank. Hank had hoped he would though and he did for a while... Perhaps ever since the first time they met, Hank walking out of the house, stopping on the front porch, greeting Barry and offering a 'submarine sandwich' as they walked through the house, Barry following Hank.
He jumps out of bed, dresses himself in a pastel pink shirt, white shorts and some nice white shoes. He hopes this would somehow get Barry's attention. He would learn later, that it in fact did. He leaves the stash house and walks to the theatre early, to ask Barry if he wanted to perform his scene with him. He waits for over an hour. 'I must have got here pretty early' he thinks to himself. He looks up from his phone and spots a young man walking towards him. He quickly looks back down to his phone, thinking, surely that he wasn't coming over to Hank. 'I'm Nick. I haven't seen you here before? Are you joining the class today? Are you an agent!' Nick questions him, so fast that Hank has trouble remembering and thinking of answers for his questions. 'I.. yes, I joined the class yesterday. The old man? He's very nice' 'Oh, Gene? Yeah, he's amazing! Have you met everyone else here yet?' Hank shakes his head no. Nick grabs Hanks hands and pulls him to everyone else outside of the theatre. 'Guys, this is the new guy!' Nick practically yells 'Hey.. I'm Hank'. Everyone immediately starts asking him questions like 'Have you got an agent?' and 'I saw the way you dressed! Are you gay?' and at this exact moment, Hank faded out. At first he thought 'How rude!' but as the seconds passed he thought about it. He could hear slight muffles. Those words resonated in his head. Are you gay?. Hank also never really thought about this but if he liked Barry like he did, he must be! -are you- He supposed he had never had a real girlfriend in his life and always liked hanging around guys more so he guessed he was.... -gay-
As he was thinking about these questions, everyone's voices came to a stop and he heard a car pull up behind him. Out jumped Gene and he walked to the doors, opened them and without saying a word, walked inside. He would have normally invited them all in. 'Oh well' Hank thought, he's just having a bad day today. Everyone quickly followed Gene in then Hank followed slowly behind them. He got to the door, halfway in the door frame he heard a car pull into the car park. It was a dusty dark blue car. He saw Barry sitting in the drivers seat. His heart skipped a few beats. He felt a smile grow on his face from ear to ear, then it died immediately as he looked next to Barry and saw Sally sitting there, looking down at a piece of paper, going through lines. 'Oh no.. Are they already in a scene together?'
He looked down, disappointed and walked, head down, into the theatre.
