Barry and Hank - Gay Play Part 11

Plot: Noho Hank joins Gene Cousineau's acting class for a hobby (and y'know... to get closer to Barry). Gene wants the class to perform a scene from any play or a scene that they wrote themselves. Hank writes a special scene for him and Barry to perform. Sally and Barry get into a little bit of a conflict.

Part 11

As they get out of the car and start to walk towards the class. They're waiting outside the theatre because Gene has yet to show up. The class is smiling and laughing. Well everyone except for Sally is having a good time. She's with Natalie sitting on her normal spot, the stairs outside the theatre. Natalie is trying to get her to say her lines enthusiastically but Sally isn't having anything from anyone today. Barry looks away from Sally and at Hank thinking about how lucky he was to have this man in his life, someone that actually understands him when he talks about his 'plans' and doesn't think he's off with another person cheating on her.

Barry had tried to stop working with Fuches but somehow he always convinced him to go back to killing people. 'Oh well' he thought. 'All that matters now is that I have Hank and Hank has me. I wouldn't leave him for the world.' Barry puts his arm around Hanks neck and rests it there as they walk towards the class. He can feel Sally's piercing glare on him but he doesn't feel bad. Finally the big black car pulls into the cracked car park and out jumps Gene. When I say jumps I mean he jumps out of the car because one, the car is way too big for him to get into and two he is in an amazing mood today, which is weird for Gene.

He lets the class in and they all sit down in their normal seats, all except for Barry who is now sitting up the back with Hank behind everyone. Gene alerts everyone that 'Today, you will all be performing the scene you have prepared.' Hanks heart skips a beat and Barry can see him tense up, so he pulls him in for a side hug, arm around his waist and shakes him a little in a playful way. 'Hey, we got this! We rehearsed all last night, remember? We can do this' everyone, even Sally turned to him because they've never heard Barry talk like that to anyone. He feels everyone's glares on him but he takes this moment to convince Hank 'See, they're all looking at us now, that's how its going to be while we're up there on the stage. Just pretend we're up here doing our scene to each other and no one else is in the room.'

Even Gene is looking at them, mostly with a feeling of disrespect because Barry was talking over him 'He's got a point though! Doesn't he everyone? Doesn't Barry have a point?' he asks the class and they all agree in unison. 'Ok, so I think first up, we'll have...' Gene reads his class list 'Eric and Antonio... ah boy..' The pair get up and perform their scene, which they have chosen from Back to the Future where Doc is showing Marty around the Delorian. The other pairs perform their scenes, including scenes from movies and scenes they've written themselves. Finally its Barry and Hanks turn to perform. 'Oh, I hope we do well Barry'
