"Mom wants us to come up and see her." I told Happy the next morning as we got up out of bed.

"We can go today. I just gotta talk to Jax." He told me.

"Okay, I haven't been able to see her these last two months." I told him.

"You visited mom while we were separated?" He asked me.

"Of course, I did. I love your mom and aunt." I shrugged smiling at him.

I looked away but out of the corner of my eye I could see his smile broadening. I went to my duffle bag bending over to pull out a tank top and jeans with panties and a bra.

I stood back up straight and was just about to pull off Happy's tee shirt when the door started opening. I let the shirt drop with it settling at my mid thigh and Happy walked over to meet the person at the door. A scantily clad woman stepped inside and smiled at my husband. I stood off to the side and crossed my arms waiting to see if she'd notice me.

"Hey baby. Wondered if you wanted some company this morning handsome." She purred running her manicured finger down Happy's bare chest.

"Who the fuck do you think you are?" Happy asked her, clenching his jaw, I could tell he was pissed. "You think it's okay to just walk into my fucking room uninvited? Learn your place here bitch. Now leave before I let my wife get a hold of you." He growled.

I smirked from my position as Hap turned toward me. He pushed her out of the room slamming the door in her face much to her protests before approaching me. He lifted me up by my ass continuing to walk backwards as I wrapped my legs around his waist before my back collided with the wall. I let out a laugh as Happy smiled at me before pressing soft kisses along my jaw. He pulled back and his deep brown eyes met my emerald greens. "I've really missed you Cal..." Happy whispered leaning his forehead against mine.

This was a raw and vulnerable side of Happy that no one ever saw. He never even let his mother and aunt see this side of him. He knew with me he could drop all those walls he's built, he can let me in, and he knows I'll stand by him no matter what. "So many times,... I'd drive by your work or by your house... I just never could make myself stop and come to you. To tell you I missed you, that I loved you... I should have told you more baby. I'm so sorry for that and for hurting you... Just don't ever leave me again." He asked his eyes screwing themselves shut as he shook his head before burying it into my neck.

"Je ne te quitterai plus jamais mon amour." I whispered to him cradling the back of his head holding him tightly as he moved his arms up, encircling my waist. (I will never leave you again my love.)

He squeezed me tightly just holding me. Not another word was spoken between us as he held onto me. I savoured the moment realizing just how much I truly missed him over the years.

"Let's go see Ma." He said smiling as he pulled back before pecking my lips and setting me back on my feet.

As we were getting dressed, I put Happy's aftercare cream over his smiley face tattoo I gave him last night. I'm not a tattoo artist but I know how to do small simple ones.

Happy left to go talk to Jax while I did my hair and make-up. That took all of twenty minutes as I threw my hair in a French braid and concealed my bruises. I found happy in the bar area looking like he was about to murder someone as Jax spoke to him in hushed tones, the crow eater from this morning stood nearby snapping her gum with a bored look on her face.

"What's going on?" I asked approaching them.

I laid my hand on Happy's arm and felt him relax under my touch. "None of your business bitch. Get your hands off of him." The crow eater demanded.

Jax, Happy and I laughed. "Yeah. No. Anyways, are we going to Mom's Mr. Lowman?" I asked Hap.

"Sure are Mrs. Lowman." Happy nodded before leaning down to kiss me softly.

"Jamie. You're obviously not welcome here anymore. Don't bother coming back." Jax told her.

She let out a frustrated scream before storming out and Happy and I finally pulled away. "Thanks brother." Happy told Jax.

Jax nodded giving us a smile before wandering off. Happy took my hand and led me out to his Dyna. He pulled a helmet out of his saddlebag and handed it to me. It was the helmet he bought and designed for me. I smiled happily and Happy placed it on my head securing the straps under my chin.

He climbed on his bike and I swung myself on behind him. I pressed my body tightly to his back and wrapped my arms around his middle. I realized how much I missed this. Just us on the bike and the open road around us. I sighed happily as I felt the engine rumble between my legs before he pulled out of the lot.

The drive to Bakersfeild was long but I've never been more relaxed. When we arrived, he placed our helmets into his bags before taking my hand. He placed a kiss to my temple, and we walked into his childhood home. When we entered Maria, Happy's aunt met us at the door. She screamed happily before hugging us both tightly. She led us excitedly to where Rose was seated on the couch.

She teared up seeing us standing there hand in hand. "Mama! Ne pleure pas!" I exclaimed letting go of Happy to hug the frail woman. (Don't cry)

"Oh Mija! You know I don't understand you!" She waved at me.

I laughed. "I said don't cry!" I told her.

"Seeing you two together again sounds like a damn good reason to me!" She told me smiling as she wiped her eyes.

Happy walked over and hugged his mother pressing a kiss to her cheek. "Hi Ma." He greeted.

"Mijo." She greeted her son lovingly. "So!" She exclaimed one we sat down and Happy pulled me to his side. "When am I getting grandbabies?"
