Travis looked out at the sky, standing on the balcony. Having a conversation with the one you hate most wasn't the greatest. Travis looked back through the open door looking back at the mirror. The mirror that was now broken and had shattered pieces scattered on the floor. Travis walked back over and sat down on the bed. He waited. His phone would be arriving today. He lost all motives and was hoping they'd be rushing back when getting the chance to talk to his Katelyn. But deep down was worried it would be gone forever. One side of the phone would be happy and excited to hear the voice they've been longing to hear. But the other side felt nothing. Isolation taking a toll on their personality.
He heard the knock on the door.
There would be no point answering as theyd just barge on anyway. Travis had wondered what would happen if they came in and he was dead. How much would they care? Would they tell his friends? Would his friends have moved on enough to not be effected? These are the things Travis had thought about each and every day. This is what caused Travis to loose all sense of meaning. Though surely one call with Katelyn would leave him happy, satisfied. It was HIS Katelyn after all.Just as Travis expected they barged in. Not impolitely but barged in non the less. They handed Travis his phone and instructed him how to sign in to the WiFi. Once he was connected they made their way out. There was two of them. The guy left when it was done but the girl stopped midway through the doorway. She looked back at Travis with a pitiful look on her face. He could tell she saw the emotions fall out of him over the couple months he was there.
But now he had his phones in his hands. He felt afraid. He shouldn't be scared of talking to his girlfriend but it had been months. The guys who worked there who talked to his friends about updates on how Travis was had told told him Katelyn said it felt like years. That means she cares right? Then why was it so hard to dial her number. He didnt even need to do that. Her contact was the only contact saved under favorites besides Dante. But anxiety rose inside him. But he hit it and heard her phone ring.
And thats where I'm ending it. Sorry I have to get to school and I haven't been able to post a lot because of it. Ill try to update my other ones too but some of them are already terrible so Ill probably favor the ones that do well. Have a good day. Next chapter will hopefully be longer.
