Travis's goal (A Travlyn fanfiction)

A New Voice

"I'm done with this. Tell me everything." Katelyn said annoyed. The TV was turned off and Travis now had to face telling everything to Katelyn.

But instead of talking Travis lost consciousness. He fell to the ground with a big bang. When he raised his eyes he found he was back in his own head.

Though instead of seeing the monster that was talking to him all along it was someone else. The person who talked to Travis previously before he got possessed by that demon creature.

"Get up." The other greyer version of Travis said.

Travis then realized even in his own mind he was on the floor.

"Whats going on? What happened to the other voice?" Travis asked confused.

"For now I'm partly in control. There is a way out that doesnt require anyone being hurt. Don't listen to our father."

"Our? And our father?"

"Yes, now is not the time. We must find my book. It must be somewhere hidden in this universe. Thats what Irene said."

"What? Who the hell are you?"

"That will be clear soon but now we must find that book. The other book we stole from Lucinda might have a clue of where to start looking."

"What am I suppose to tell Katelyn? Or anyone?"

"Doesn't matter. If my plan pulls though all will be forgiven."

"How can you be so sure?"

"Just trust me."

And with that the darkness surrounding Travis began to fade into Katelyns bedroom. He saw Katelyn pacing around the room muttering things to herself.

"I-I...I'm sorry." Travis managed out which signaled Katelyn he was awake.

"Travis!" Katelyn said and ran over to him. "What happened to you? Are you even the same person?"

"I...I dont know. I wanna be but..." Travis felt weak. not physicality but emotionally.

"Ugh! I though all this stressful stuff would be over! Whats this about you escaping!" Katelyn yelled angry, not necessarily at him but also not necessarily not at him.

"I had to get to you. They were treating me like a wild animal."

"So you escaped? Couldn't you have waited?"

"They would have killed me before I ever got a chance out."

"What?! What do you mean?!"

"They were doing a bunch of terrible experiments on me and treated me terribly to get me to snap at them and reveal this crazy demon thing. It just would've killed me you have to understand...I didn't want to die there."

Katelyn stayed silent. She didnt expect to hear that.

"So what are we going to do? Everyone is going to be afraid of you!'' Katelyn yelled clearly panicking.

"Its going to be fine. Whatever happens you'll be fine."

"This is about you Travis."

"I know, we'll figure it out though. Or maybe we won't. Just stop panicking its not going to help." Travis said getting up. "I have to use the restroom."

Katelyn gave Travis a sad look.

Once Travis got in the bathroom he started hearing the voices again.

I should be able to hold off the demon warlock but he has no power, no nothing. If he comes back just don't listen to him. Do what I say. Find the book.
