Travis's goal (A Travlyn fanfiction)

Aaron says just do it. Zanes says why the hell are you asking me you idiot! Very Zane of him to say. But Travis still was unprepared. This would be a good time to have an alive and well father but y'know...not him. Unless...no Eric hates him. Well not to much. Starlight really changed Erics view of Travis. Especially when he saw Travis next to Zane.

{A Car Ride Later}
What the hell what Travis thinking?! Travis stood in front of Erics door to scared to knock. Travis told Katelyn he was going to try to get further on her fathers good side. Really he was half asking permission and half asking for advice.

Just do it, just knock on the freaking door. And he did.

"Oh, well if it isn't Travis. Come in, come in." Salvanna said after answering the door. "What brings you here?"

"Uh..." Travis began figiting with his thumbs, nervous about how badly this would go. "I need to talk to Eric."

"Oh. Is Katelyn okay?" Salvanna asked worried.

"Oh shes fine."

"Your relationship is still working out right?" Salvanna asked determined to know Travis's intentions of speaking to Eric.

"Actually...don't tell Eric I want to tell him myself, I want to ask Katelyn to move in with me because I've been staying over anyway, well I wanted Erics permission first."

"Well arent you any parents dream future son-in-law! Then again if I was Aaron I wouldn't ask my permission either." Salvanna said laughing to herself. "Anyway, best of luck! Oh, I should go get him. You wait here."

Salvanna disapeared upstairs leaving Travis in the foyer. Travis did some breathing exercises as he waited for Eric and Salvanna to come back down the stairs.

"Hey Travis. What are you doing here?" Eric said walking down the stairs twoards him. Travis felt anxious. Not as anxious as at the dinner, obviously, but anxious to say the least.

"I wanna talk to you about something."

"This isnt about that dumb family reunion is it?  I completely trust you not that bitch if thats what you were worried about." Eric said. Travis was happy to hear that but was still shocked to hear Eric call Elizabeth a bitch. The little voice in his head got a kick out of it too.

"Actually its about Katelyn..."

"Did you knock her up?" Eric said quickly.

Travis sat there completely flustered. "Wh-Wh...uh...no." Travis said completely shocked.

"You sure? Not that I would mind. If it means grandbabies I'm proud." Eric said which completely took Travis by suprise. One couldve said Travis was beat red. And to make matters worse Eric began "Don't even worry. Condoms are hardly reliable. Unless you forgot which happens to. When you get in the mo-"

"NO KATELYN ISNT PREGNANT!" Travis said interupting Eric before Travis would figuratively explode. "I was actually going to ask Katelyn to move in with me...."

"Oh. Yeah thats fine too." Eric said as if he didnt even realize what the things he just said were doing to poor Travis.

"Really? I thought you hated me."

"Nah, you seemed like a player so I was hesitant but now I just like to mess with yuh."

Travis didnt know how to feel. The first feeling was relief. But that means now he just has to ask her.

"Actually could you give me some advice? I have no idea what to say to her." Travis asked nervously

"Oh you know exactly what to say. Stop stalling and go ask her."

"But-"

"NOW!"

I wonder how far you guys think I am with the book...I'm still at the beginning. I havent even introduced the second voice yet...Let me know in the comments any feedback. Should I go more serious or is it to much. Im trying to make it more about Travlyn but really this is mostly just about Travis and the backstory I made him.
