Chapter 69: I almost forgot this chapter

Diary Entry from Geoff Wigington's POV

Today is Rory's 3rd birthday. I literally wake up to Rory jumping on the bed and saying "Today is my birthday."

I say "I know Roars. You turn 3 today."

She says "Yes."

Awsten says "What are you talking about?"

Rory says "Guess what today is?"

Awsten says "I have no idea."

Rory yells "Its my birthday." He sits and hugs her, then says "Happy birthday Roars"

I say "Do you want birthday pancakes."

Rory says "Yes." I pick up Rory and we walk downstairs, I let her help me make the pancakes and we sit down, I am in the middle of eating when I hear Awsten scream.

I run up to our room and say "What happened?"

Awsten says "I-I"

I say "You what?"

Awsten says "Well, I might have dropped my wedding ring in the sink."

I say "Did it fall in?"

Awsten says "No, but I got scared." He pulls it out of the sink, I then grab and put the ring onto his hand.

I say "Will you keep this on?"

He flipped me off and says "Yes, asswipe." I flip him off and walk away.

When I got downstairs Rory had put her plate on the counter and was playing with her toys, I say "Hey what are you doing?"

She says "Waiting for you & Awsten."

I say "I'm sorry, what?"

She says "I'm just waiting for you and Awsten to come downstairs."

I say "Well sorry."

She says "It's okay. I'm used to it." I nod and she goes back to playing with her dolls. I go to the kitchen and Awsten walks in, then says "What'd you looking at?"

I say "I'm looking at Rory."

Awsten says "Why?"

I say "She said she's used to us taking forever."

Awsten says "Okay. We take forever, so what?"

I say "We do it enough that she just used to it. What if we will always be like this."

Awsten says "That's just our personalities."

I say "Don't you get. We are never there, when she wants us or when she needs us."

Awsten says "You are looking way into this." He walks away and goes to play with her.

Time skip to 1 pm

I say "Guess what we're going?"

Rory says "The ice cream shoppe."

I say "No, the zoo."

Rory says "Cool." 

I say "There's ice cream at the zoo."

Rory says "Yes."

Awsten says "Why do we have to go to the zoo."

I say "Because we need to do something fun with her."

Awsten says "She really wants to go to the ice cream shoppe."

I say "Fine, we can go to the shoppe."
