It's officially that time. 31 October 1987. Since none of the animals really knew Harry's birthday and Harry couldn't remember it any more, he couldn't even really remember the month it was supposed to be in by the time animals started woundering, they all decided to celebrate on they day they met him. Harry didn't really care and happily declared the date his birthday.

Harry was furiously writing away on the parchment given to him. He's been doing so for almost 30 minutes in complete silence. Lilly watched him patiently as did a few other of his friends. This was a very important moment for Harry.

Another 30 minutes passed and Harry set down his everlasting quill Lilly got him and sighed.
The elf walked over to him, keeping her face blank. Harry felt blood rush around in his ears with his hammering heart. His whole life depended on this moment.

Lilly's face fell and Harry thought he was gonna cry. No! There's no way he failed! He'd studied for this test until he thought his brain was gonna go on strike.

She marked the parchment and gave it back to him with a sigh. "Looks like I'll have to save up some pretty galleons, you passed with flying colors." She said. Harry looked at the parchement and positively lit up. He passed!!!
"Yay!!! Thank you Lilly! You're the best!" He yelled jumping about and hugging all of his eaqually happy friends. "I'm gonna get a wand! Can we go now?! Can we?!" He asked excitedly.

She shook her head, smiling. "I told you if you passed I would look into making it so you could practice wizard magic before you go to school. I still have to save up the money and check with a few other things." She reminded him.
Honestly, Harry didn't seem to really care, but he did calm down. She nodded. His etiquette lessons have been going very well.

Well... As well as they can go when you're trying to teach an excitable 7 year old.

Lilly, thanks to Fangmaster, had the pleasure of listening to the prophesy. What confused her most was that everything seemed to point to Harry other than the birthday. Fangmaster wasn't sure what to make of it, but his wife is an absolute genius.
"What if the immediate records got mixed up in an attack. You said that happened a lot in the war. Let's double check the archived records..." Sure enough, the boy's brith dates had been switched. The two made the collective decision not to do anything about it though. It kept people hoping in their savior and would keep Harry under the radar when he went to school. Harry, who's legal name was now Harry Marudur Messair.

The only thing that really worried Lilly about all of this was how much Harry looked like his father.
She was still trying to come up with something that didn't involve a glamour of illousion as those tend to fade and/or can be easily removed if suspected.

Lilly smiled at Harry. She'd come to think of the boy as her own son in a way.
She'd make trips to Diagon Alley once a week for supplies for his lessons. His robes were a little ill fitting since she didn't have him sized and she couldn't exactly take him with her to have him try the robes on. She made sure he was clothed, fed, and schooled. She and pretty much everyone on the island made sure he was loved. They were a little concerned that the magic hasn't set in on him yet. It set in on Lilly within her first month there. But Harry seemed to pick up on things so well, nobody really needed words.

Anguis. Anguis is cold and crule on the outside, but inside he's a soft and squishy marshmellow that cares for Harry very deeply. Of course he never really shows it, but Lilly's seen how much Anguis cares.
