Harry was happily making his way home. From the Webbings nests when he heard a low howling sound. It sounding like someone was having trouble breathing for a moment, but as Harry got closer he could understand it to be words. He kept walking, not noticing the tempature drop.

"Great. I made it. Now how will I find to others. It hurts so much. I need- I need-"
Harry moved aside some leaves to see a creature he'd never seen before.

It was cloaked in black and sent a shiver down his spine just to be around. An air of sadness and hopelessness seemed to surround it. Harry, not realizing that's just how dementor are, became very worried about the creature that was laying on the ground in the fetal position.

"Are you okay?" He asked. The dementor jumped, but quickly realised that he couldn't move until he was healed.
"Stay away child, or I will kiss you!!!" He warned, amplifying his magic.

As for Harry... Sometimes being oblivious is a good thing. Dispite the even more intense feelings the bombarded him, he giggled a little. Lilly always told him that laughter can make any creature feel better.
"But you don't have any lips." Harry offered jokingly.

The dementor wass shocked. "You can.... You can understand me, human?"
Harry nodded. "Yeah. You must be new here. I'm Harry and this is a safe haven for creatures. I'm the only human or humanish person here, so don't worry. The magic that surrouds this island will settle on you eventually. When it does, you will be able to understand all of the creatures. Do you want to meet Anguis? He seems to help most of the creatures who first show up." Harry offered.
Before the dementor could reapond, it hissed in pain.

"Damit. I need hope to survive and heal myself, so unless you plan on sacrifficing your own life, I need to hunt." The dementor snapped.
Harry frowned. "But you can't even stand." He thought aloud, earning and irriated and pain filled growl. "What happened?" He asked, inching closer.

The dementor looked away in a subtle show of shame. "I was attacked by another dementor." He growled.

Harry nodded and nealed beside the creature. "Can I see?' He asked. The creature almost jumped in shock, but thought better of it.
Something about the boy made him stop from attacking, probably the amount of claims laid on him by very dangerous creaturs.

"Whatever. I'm gonna die anyways. But if you hurt me, I'll eat you." He warned. Harry smiled and nodded.

A Smile. Something a dementor can rarely say they've seen. On top of that, a child's smile directed at them?
Unheard of.

Harry placed his hands over the wound and created some light so he could see. He winced. The dementor's blood was an inky black and his chest looked horribly torn.
No doubt the creature would die soon.

Harry felt the sadness get to him when he thought about that. He felt himself start to sob as he wished more than anything he could save the dementor.
The dementor wasn't surpised when Harry started to cry.

However he thought he would endure a heart attack when the child wrapped it's little arms around him.

The cold grew colder and all hope seemed lost, a feeling Harry fought with every fiber of his being and he held the dementor close. He sobbed loudly.

Of course the increasing cold was just other dementors sensing a newcomer and coming to retrieve them.
They watched in shock as the little human boy Anguis protected hugged the new dementor and cried.
They could tell the necomer would die and had half the mind to leave them there.
It was morbid cruiousity of the child that kept them watching.
