Chapter 1: Unexpected Visitor

Early in the morning, the sun shines bright yellow and the cumulus clouds are perfectly displayed in the indigo surface. Towering trees, stony sand with live bivalves and a sweet sea breeze welcomed the young lad as he woke up from a deep sleep. When he gathered all of his consciousness, he found open wounds scattered all over his body wondering what had happened. But he can't remember a thing. Only he remembers is that he's an idol, he left the show-business, he left Seoul, and he booked a ticket to Manila.

"I am in the Philippines, ain't I?" He thought while bending one leg to stand up.

With both feet on the ground, he walked unstably towards the pond he first saw. Not thinking whether the water inside it is clean or not, he formed his hands into a bowl and dipped it in until it was filled with water. He moved closer to his hands and drank the thing in it.

"Ruff-ruff-ruff!!"

Ho Seok's manly image stood frozen on the ground as he felt a crazy bastard biting his brown leather shoes he bought from Cambridge last two months. The poor lad held his breath and stayed still, having a mental breakdown knowing that the barking creature is on his feet. He's dead afraid of dogs. So much.

"Botchok!" Called a young girl's voice and the Labrador Retriever who's busy with the guy's shoes ran back towards its owner. Not far from his position was where she's standing ㅡ a little shocked of the guy's back with his rotten shirt and badly torn jeans. She bent down and ruffled the dog's furry head and said, "You shouldn't have done it with the mister over their."

Without her knowing, Ho Seok followed the Labrador and stood behind her back.

"Misseu, helpeu me.. Please."

Hearing the lad's unique pronunciation, she presumed he's Korean. She switched her position and faced back to see a familiar-oh-no-not-just-familiar face standing in front of her with a helpless look on his face. Before responding to his request, she managed to apologize for what her dog has done with him.

"I hope you'd forgive my dog, J-Hoe... Choo!" She cracked a fake sneeze to cover up her stupidity. It's not that stupid, though. Well, she thinks it's better if she acts like she doesn't know him. That's what she has learned from reading those random fan fictions in wattpad. Until they both fall in love. "Ugh, the pollens really.. Getting into my nerves. Achoo! Oh, sorry again."

"It's notta big dealrl foh me. But pleaseu, help me. I don't know why I got into this placeu, neither can't I remember what happened. Please, just for days. Can I stay in your home?" He begged.

Acting sorry on the outside but screaming inside her head like a lunatic paparazzi, the girl respond, "H-huh? Uhmm. Well, uhmm. I'll just tell my grandparents if they're okay with it since I only came here last Tuesday to have a vacation. They're good people so don't worry, I can persuade them easily." She put out a smile which made Ho Seok lift his cheeks unconsciously.

He bowed. "Thank you very mucheu. By the way, I am Jung Ho Seok. I am twenty years old. I am, obviously, a Korean Citizen. I don't know if you'd believe it but I am a celebrit~'

"I know you pretty much so no need to ~"

"You know me? So you know that I am an ido~?"

"Hah-hah...hah. Uh, yeah. Y-You just told me.. Right? Y-you are Jung Ho Seok, you're twenty, you're~"

"Ruff-ruff-ruff!" The dog meddled in which made Ho Seok jump and hurt his leg. He groaned silently noticing that one of his wounds bled.

"Are you okay? I think we should get going now. I'm worried about your wounds."

"Oh.. Okay.. Uhmm, lady, I'm really thankful I saw you. I owe you so much."

"It's nothing, come on!"

On her lead, they both arrived in her grandparents' house. Botchok ran towards the dog-shed while the girl directed to the main door. "Don't be shy, Ho Seok. Come in."

The cube shaped house was simple with nipa leaves as its roof. The wall is made up of thick wood and some are made of bamboos making it look ethnic and natural. The windows are only supported by a bamboo stick when opened and the flooring was just a plain wood divided into rectangular shapes to make it attractive.

"Lady, you're house is.."

"If you're going to say it's ugly, the door is open for you to leave." She joked but Ho Seok seemed to believe her harsh words.

"No.. I mean, this is the first time I have seen a house like this. This is so unique. I never have seen this my whole life. Even though the sun madly heats up, here inside is just as cool as uhmm.. 21 degrees, maybe?"

"Pfft. Cute." She thought out loud.

"You're saying?"

"Yes. And I need you to take a shower now so that I could put dressings on your wounds. Alright?" She covered up.

"Thank you, lady."

"Can you stop calling me lady? Elisse." She said, busy searching for the first aid kit under her grand mom's drawer.

Ho Seok motioned to come near her, kneeled one leg and aimed to say a thank you when Elisse, on her butt, look up ㅡ about say something until their lips crashed to one another.

Both of their eyes widened and Ho Seok moved off quickly. "I-I'm sorry. I didn't do it on purposeu. I-I.."

"T-ten steps from here, t-turn right. The f-first door you'd see is the b-bathroom. Just get a towel in the cabinet inside. And also.."

"Elisse.."

"..and also, you can find unopened soap bars under it. Asking about the shampoo, we have it und~"

"Elisse-shii, I'm really sorry. I didn't mean it, I swear." He said while stepping back. "Please stop crying. If you want, I'll just leav~"

"I'll be outside." Then she ran off the house.
