Hudson POV

'My brother is an idiot.'  I thought as I searched his office.

'I mean I always knew he was, but now he has seriously taken the plunge into idiocy.'

I finally found what I was looking for and went back to my room.

He just doesn't know what he is doing by letting her go. He already is so much worse than he was. Granted, he lost two girls on the same day, but his mate will make him and his wolf much happier and less clingy.

I sat in my room trying to focus on my video game, but I just kept dying. I wasn't even sure what I was playing.

I made up my mind, I was going to go get her and bring her back for Asher. He won't kill her, he might kill me but I can take him, I think.

I got a small bag packed and got ready to go. No one would really miss me, I had a habit of leaving spontaneously and not coming back for a few weeks.

I shifted and carried the bag in my mouth while I ran towards their territory.

I got about an hour outside their territory before I stopped to grab some water and take a short break.

I went to the stream I had been following and lowered my head to drink, but I smelt something as I did.

I continued to drink and just pretended not to notice.

Then I smelled something different than the rest. It was sweeter and smelled like a lily after a storm. I turned wanting to see the owner of the scent and saw a beautiful wolf, who looked so majestic. I stared at her for a minute and then made my way to her eyes. They were electrifying blue. I felt like I could never stop looking at them.

We made eye contact and I knew immediately who this was.

'Mate!' My wolf yelled.

'I know.'

I went up closer to her, and also smelled that she was a rogue. I brushed against her and growled lightly in pleasure.

I went behind a tree and pulled on a pair of shorts. I came back out and she was still there.

"Shift." I said.

She went behind a tree and yelled out.

"This is going to have to do because all of my clothes are back at camp."

I chuckled and threw her one of my shirts.

"Thank you."

We walked out and I looked at her human form, it was just as mesmerizing.

"Hello beautiful," I said as I tucked a strand of hair behind her ear, "what's your name?"

"Lily. And what's your name handsome?"

"Hudson."

I saw her shiver a little, but quickly cover it up with a fake chill.

I smirked and when we made eye contact she knew she was caught, causing her cheeks to get a pink tone to them.

We ended up sitting there talking for hours. We spoke more about her, but the subject of her being a rogue never came up.

We talked about me, but I didn't mention my brother and his pack just yet. She knew I was from a pack, but not which one.

Her stomach rumbled and she gasped.

"I forgot! I was supposed to be hunting something for dinner tonight. Everyone was depending on me."
