------------------------------------------------------------------Without warning, or even a peep out of the boys, Dakota took off in a sprint. Bursting through Brendons front door, Dakota tripped her way down the driveway and onto the abandon streets of LA. Brendon's the first to make it to the front door, followed by the rest of the men. Watching as the girl, in her socks, ran to a small one story house across the way. They watch as the girl quickly opens one of the houses side windows and climb inside.
A couple moments later, from the front windows of the house, lights flicker on. Two silhouettes are seen talking, one taller with crossed arms, and the other with their head hung low. As the boys watch on, they can hear faint shouting coming from the house as the situation becomes worse, things are being thrown by the taller silhouette as the smaller one does their best to dodge the objects. A shoe of sorts is seen making contact with the smaller silhouette, rubbing their head, another short silhouette appears, taking the taller ones hand.
A smaller male and tall female exit the house with suit cases in hands, they both look to be in professional clothing. Dakota is seen in the doorway of the screen glass rubbing her head with a hurt expression cascaded onto her gental facial features. The two adults put their things in the car, that is parked in their driveway, getting into the passenger seats, the car pulls out rather quickly before speeding off. Dakota is seen slowly closing the front door before the lights in the house shut off slowly, one by one.
"well," Everyone turns to look behind them as Mikey speaks up. "That was something."
Nodding in agreement everyone looks back towards the house with worried expressions on their faces. With only knowing the tall 17 year old girl for a short amount of time, she sure has made a home in everyone's heart rather quickly.
The next morning dakota wakes up to a knock on her front door. pulling back the covers, she's dressed in baggy, black sweat pants, and a dark grey hoodie that looked too large, even for her height. Standing up, she whipes away the drool from the night before and trudges her way to her bedroom door. Barely missing her amp that's still plugged into a jet black electric guitar, she stumbles into the door, swinging herself and the door open.
Opening the front door she is met with the faces of Brendon, Zack, and Pete. Staring back at the groggy girl with bed head, noticing her eye bags, Pete, Zack, and Brendon share a knowing glance before confronting the girl.
Scanning with hazel eyes, recognition flashes through. "Brendon? What are you guys doing here" she asks quitely.
"Well... when you rushed out last night, you forgot your skates." He gives a lopsided smile as he holds up the gray skates.
Hitting her head with her left hand. "Stupid!" She whispered to herself. Looking up, Brendon hands her skates as she takes them gently. "Thanks..." Standing their for a moment, staring at the three, Dakota pipes up. "Oh! How rude of me, sorry, you guys can come in if you'd like."
Turning around Dakota disappears behind a corner to the left. The three of them made their way inside of her house as Zack takes the liberty to shut the door for the frazzled teen. When entering, they are met with a small living room with a green couch behind a coffee table that looked a little dirty. Next to the couch was a matching green chair, in front of it all was a small TV screen that looked like it had a crack on the side of it. Entering further, they round the corner to find a small kitchen with an island like the one Brendon has.
Closing a closet door, Dakota walks over to the kitchen island as the three take a seat on the stools. She starts to open up a cabinet infront of her, pulling out a box of cereal, followed by a glass bowl.
