Leah's POV--

How could I be that stupid for the past three and a half months? I didn't understand how someone wanted to be so cruel that they ended up messing with my emotions. I truly began to believe that whoever I was writing back and forth with was someone that had feelings for me. In my head, I kept thinking of all the places we would go to, the dates we would go on, and the kisses we would share together. All those thoughts were torn to shreads in just seconds.

It made sense though. I mean all the things he kept saying that he would do and get for me always seemed to good to be true. I should have known right when he said that he could get me tickets to see Manchester United play that everything was a lie. I mean, that's what I would have said to get someone to like me and play along with my joke. Too bad I actually fell for it like an idiot. If only there was a way that I could go up to whoever the person was and give them a piece of my mind. I was almost positive that they deserved a nice wack across the face for stringing me along for that long. Ugh, what did I do to deserve all of it?

"Hey, Leah. I can't find where you put the ketchup? Help?" Thankfully, Bailey was able to come over and make me feel better. I hadn't told her all about the guy and letters, just about me and Jared. It was much easier to blame how I felt on my breakup with Jared than the mystery guy.

"I told you it's on the second shelf in the door of the fridge," I walked into the kitchen and quickly pulled out the ketchup from right where I said it was. "See? Now, go eat your fries you had to have."

When I called her to come over about twenty minutes ago, she said that just needed to stop by McDonalds and get some food as if it was urgent that she got french fries. It didn't matter at that point because she was there and ready to help me bad mouth every boy in exsitence.

"I will." She said, shoving three fries covered in ketchup into her mouth. "Can you finally tell me why you sent me an SOS text already, though? I have been dying to know."

"I told you that Jared and I broke up, well it just kind of hit me earlier. I needed someone to come over help me talk gossip with to get my mind off of things and maybe even talk crap about boys."

A smile immediately lit up on her face. She always loved to talk about people, which was why she was the first person I called up. It was funny though because I was the complete opposite when it came to gossip. I usually liked to stay out and away from it, but there was just so much anger and sadness built up inside of me, that I needed to let it out somehow. What better way than junk food and talking about rumors?

For about an hour, I was able to get out all of my frustrations to Bailey, and like a true friend she was, she listened no matter what. Some how, we started talking about Jared, as any ex does, but then we slowly began to bring up celebrity gossip. I wasn't sure how we ended up there, but I was praying she wouldn't mention anything about Harry Styles because I knew she had a soft spot for him.

Thankfully, nothing about him every came up and before I knew it, Bailey had to leave for the night shift at work. It was a bummer to see her have to go, but after hanging out together, I was already beginning to feel better. Once we said our goodbyes, I quickly scurried into my bedroom to get snuggled into bed and prepare to watch movies until I fell asleep. However, that plan got cut short when I heard the doorbell ring.

"Did you forget something, Bailey. You know, you can just come in. I don't think you have ever rung the doorbell before." I said, trying to finish up putting on my pajama pants. "Bailey?"

I didn't bother looking through the peephole on the door because I was almost sure that it was Bailey coming back for something. However, when I finally opened the door, there wasn't a skinny, red-head on the other side.

"And who is Bailey?"

"Harry?"

Boom! Harry flipping Styles is at her front door! Like what even right now...? I couldn't even imagine what I would do if he ever just showed up at my house. Considering I never answer my door unless it's something I ordered from Amazon, he would probaly be waiting outside for a long time. Oops!

Alrighty, so yeah... I hope you liked this chapter! I think there may be less letters from here on out, but don't worry because I definitely plan on keeping that aspect going! :) Anyways, I still plan on that 1000 reads by Friday! I know you can do it! Love y'all! <33
