Hermione grit her teeth and seethed hot air as she eyed Ginny run a tiny finger along Harry's thigh. The weather was finally warm enough to allow the students to sit outside in between classes, to which Hermione thoroughly enjoyed to take advantage of. She angrily flipped the page in her book and brushed a piece of hair behind her ear. There was a rumbling in her stomach that made her want to get up and tackle Ginny to the ground, but she was even more angry that Harry was doing nothing the stop her. Ron had disappeared several minutes ago, claiming he needed to run to the library, which was the most ridiculous statement she had ever heard in her life. Almost as ridiculous as Ginny was acting right now.

Hermione wasn't really sure what was going on. She was never one to be jealous, aside from the little Ron situation, but something about this made her insides churn and her fists turn a pressured white.

"Hermione!" Ginny snapped, dragging her attention out of her daze. Hermione's eyes flew over to Harry, who smiled slyly at her irritable expression. Ginny's hand was now placed close to his waist, rubbing affectionately and seemingly tickling him a little bit.

"What." Hermione said slowly in a dark tone. Had this been a fairytale, she would be the brown haired dragon breathing fire. "What do you want.."

"Well I was just telling Harry about future, it's quite interesting. Picture this, ten years from now, you are standing in a bright blue dress, handing me my flowers as I'm walking down the aisle with doves flying all around us. Harry is there in a tie, identical to the colour of your dress. My parents are in the front row, taking the role of Harry's too. Beautiful right?"

Hermione did in fact imagine that image, but she was in the white wedding dress, not Ginny. In only a perfect scenario would she be marrying Harry, in a perfect world where problems were inconsistent with life and tragedy was unbeknownst to all. Only then, would Hermione take the time to consider that image to be reality in the far future.

    "Yes, it's absolutely beautiful, Ginny."

..

Hermione practically sprang to her feet and held herself back from breaking into a dance when it was a decent time to start heading down to Potions class. It wasn't that Hermione was so annoyed with Ginny as a person, it was just... maybe that was the reason, actually.

Despite hearing Harry call after her quite clearly, she took off for the dungeons, ignoring the stares of concerned peers at the quickness of her pace.

"Hermione," Harry said as she continued to charge through the corridor, successfully breaking through the wall of other students. She barely acknowledged Harry and continued walking, though his voice was getting frighteningly closer. That was until he took her hand and spun her around so that she was forced to look at him. "Just listen to me.."
