Ending #2: part 2

(March 2024)

Hailee and Shawn had been married for almost 2 years. The couple was now 27 years old. Hailee was expecting their first child. Her due date was coming rather quickly. Shawn was still making music and his songs were topping the charts. Hailee was also continuing to act and sing. She had put acting on hold since she got pregnant but wanted to keep acting once the baby was born.

Hailee had woken up to a sharp pain in her stomach that morning. Her and Shawn had driven to the hospital. After 4 hours of being in labor, the couple was happy to hear their baby's cries.

"It's a girl!" their doctor said excitedly.

"What's her name?" a nurse with a clipboard asked.

Hailee and Shawn had a boy and a girl name figured out already so they knew exactly what to say.

"Her name is Emily Rose Mendes."

The nurse handed a wrapped up Emily to Hailee. Shawn and Hailee just sat there looking down at their daughter. She had Hailee's hazel eyes and lips. Her nose was from Shawn. Her hair was a mix of Shawn and Hailee's. She had dark brown roots with golden brown streaks. The couple wanted to stare and admire her like this forever if they could.

7 Years Later (2031):

Hailee and Shawn were sitting on a blanket watching their kids play. They were in a small field that had tons of flowers. Shawn and Hailee used to come here when they were kids. It was kinda private so they didn't have to worry about ant paparazzi.

"Kids! It's lunch time!" Shawn yelled to Emily and Griffin. Shawn and Hailee had two more children after Emily.

Their second oldest child was Griffin jr., who was now 5. He diffinetly had his uncle's eyes. They were so soft and caring when you looked into them. Griffin jr.'s smile was also warming. It was a kind of crooked smile that made anyone's face light up when they was it. The smile was from Shawn and Hailee.

Their youngest child was named Scarlett. She was only 1 but was the happiest baby ever. She was constantly smiling and laughing. Emily and Griffin jr. were the sweetest siblings to her. Scarlett had her sister's brown with goldfish streaks hair and she had Griffin's smile.

Emily was now 7. She was always protective of her younger siblings. She had gotten that trait from her dad. Since she was the oldest of the 3, her hobbies stood out more. She was a big fan of acting and singing.

Everyone was now eating their hot dogs. Emily and Griffin were telling each other jokes until their faces were as red as tomatoes. Shawn was helping Scarlett learn to walk. She was holding onto his thumb. As for Hailee, she sat back with her arms behind her, admiring the scene before her. Everything she had wanted but thought she couldn't have came true. Everything really DID work out in the end.

NEWS: TIME TO SETTLE DOWN. Hailee and Shawn Mendes were reported to have retired from their acting and singing jobs. They told a source that "it was time for us to take a step back so we could be there for out children. Who knows if we will pick it back up again in the future. But for now, we want to live in the present with our beautiful children." The singers' have 3 young children. We hope that they will come back one day.
