My new life

Its the evening now, Edward and I are sitting together on the couch, waiting for Alice to come home with my baby.

"Stop fidgeting,  they will be here soon. I can hear Alice's thoughts"
He looks slightly nervous.

I get up and move to the big window that looks over the front of the house. That's when Alice pulls up. If I were human still my heart would be beating fast right now. I'm so nervous but excited.

"What if she doesn't remember me? "

"She will, she's smart to be two. But Bella I need to tell you something."

"What is it? Why do you look so nervous?"

"Well um.... what happened was..... eversinceyoudiedihavebeengivingRenesmeemyvenomsonowsheslikeahalfhumanhalfvampirehybrid."

"Slow down, say that again but slower... please."

" OK, long story short, for the past two years, with every meal Renesmee has also been drinking some of my venom,  shes a hybrid now and once she gets older if she chooses,  she will become a full vampire."

"What does this mean?"

"It means right now she looks like she's fifteen, she can walk,  talk everything like a normal fifteen-year-old.  I dumbed it down for you earlier because I didn't want you to flip out"

I wanna say something back but I have nothing to say.  How is this possible?  I have no idea.  I go to ask him that when Alice walks in the door.

"Look, Aunt Alice,  I really do love you, but this shopping all the time has to stop, you're killing me. Really you are."

"Ness don't be so dramatic,  you sound like your mother."

"Thanks for the day Alice. I'm gonna go find my dad."

She sounds so sad.  I just wanted to run to her and hold her,  but I controlled myself.  I moved to sit down as to not scare her when she came in to see Edward.  I just sat, listened and waited.

"Dad? Where are you? "

"In the den honey.  Come here I need to speak to you."

Her footsteps get closer and closer, then they stop.  She's standing in the doorway looking right at me and she doesn't look happy at all.
