The lost lagoon
Cassandra awoke between pieces of wood. She grabbed her throbbing head. "Argh! Where am i?", she asked herself. She realized, that she was in the Castle.
"No!", she screamed in shock. She pulled her leg out of the rubble. She bleeded. Not only her leg, her head too.
But she still went out of the castle. Nobody was there. "Hello?", she screamed. Zhan Tiri! He has kidnapped everyone.
And it was her fault! If Rapunzel Just destroyed the moonstone this wouldn't happen! But 10 years after all. She fell desperately to the ground and cryed.
Suddenly her bleeding head gave her a misfire and she fell in powerlessness.
At night she woke up in a warm bed. She slowly opened her eyes as she realized she was in someone's bed!
She sat up quickly. "W-where am i? What happened?", she asked herself in confuse. But she was the only person in Corona! Or not?
She grabbed her head and felt bandages. Cass removed the blanket and her leg was bandaged too. Who only cared for her?
She looked around the room. It was dark. When she looked to the clock she saw at was 4 o'clocko'clock in the morning.
But suddenly the door opened. The owner of the House must have heard her. A big man walked in. He stood in the dark so she could only realize that the silhouette was a man.
"Who are you?", she yelled scared. He felt the fear in her voice and grinned at her. "Answer!" He only came closer and Cassandra stood up. "Stop! I have a... Oh no!" She wore her maid's dress and therefore had no weapons.
Suddenly light came on. On the Walls hung candles that illuminated the room. She saw into the blue eyes of the guy and fell back in shock. So she sat again on the bed.
"Varian... I thought... I am the only one left in corona..."
He smiled at her. "Well well. That was the same i thought before i found you unconscious in the castle courtyard."
She looked shocked at her palms. "I was... unconscious?"
Varian extended his hand. "Well your head lost a lot of blood. You should..."
She grabbed his wrist and pulled him back as she stood up. "Don't you dare touching me!"
He stroked his wrist as she let go. "I touched you when i SAVED YOUR LIFE!", He yelled.
She grabbed again her head. "Ugh... You are right. Sorry..."
Varian started laughing. "I haven't seen you for TEN years! And you are still the same."
Cassandra rolled her eyes. "How did you even find me?"
"Well, i was in my prison cell as suddenly something outside exploded. There was a big hole in the wall so i escaped and wanted to run home but then i saw you. And i think you know more about what happened."
Cass looked desperately away and he followed her gaze. "Cassie..."
"Don't call me like that!"
"I will! Cause you allowed it to me!"
"And now i forbid it to you!"
"Do What you wanna do, Cassie."
She again rolled her eyes and crossed her arms. "Shut it! We have to save corona."
"Okay but without me."
"Varian! I need you now. We are..."
"I don't care Cassie. I don't wanna die with 25 years."
Cassandra grabbed his Shirt and pulled him furiosly against the wall.
"That was not a question but an order."
Now Varian took her by the Sides and pulled her closer. "That is the Cassie i waited for." She pushed herself away carefully. "Don't get so close to me!"
He grinned at her. "I was still much closer to you when you we're unconscious."
Cass pushed away and walked away from him.
"Eww! Varian, you are so disgusting!"
He followed her and sat down at his table. She stood besides him.
"Well do you have a plan?" "No...", Cass answered.
"Do you know where he is?" "No... But wait! I think i have an idea! Where is my bag?"
"I put it into my closer, why?", He asked. She opend it and took her bag. "Because Raps left something for me."
She took out a piece of paper. "And how does this going to help us?"
She took a pencil and rubbed the lead with the paper and different words we're desiphered.
"What the..." "A Secret Message!" She started reading:"You'll find Zhan Tiri at the eternal waterfalls."
Varian looked confused at her. "Is there somewhere a secret messege in this secret message?"
"Shut up, i have to think. I... I remember! I was with Raps at the lost lagoon and from below we saw huge waterfalls! Just as if they have no end."
"And you think Zhan Tiri is there?"
"I am sure about that!"
