"But you killed other people! What is different now?!"
Varian looked angrily into her face.
Then he took the patron out of the gun and held it to her chest.
"Bang...", he just said softly and then gave her the gun and the patron.
"Imagine I killed ya and now let's leave this place.", he said and went on. "Well... If you don't want to kill me... I have to kill myself."
"You know that I don't actually care.", he just said without any feeling of pain because of her words.
After that Cass fell on to her knees and cried into her hands.
"Oh no... C'mon Cass, don't cry! I hate to see you cry!", he screamed. Why is she crying? He thought. She has always been such a strong personality and now she just wants to end everything?
He looked annoyed at her and then turned away. "I don't need you so you can stay here if you want."
"Oh but how can you just leave her?", someone said. The voice was familiar. Then a man stepped out of the dark.
And it was Hector.
Both looked confused at him. He kneed down in front of Cassandra and looked deep into her eyes with a serious look.
"I dreamed about killing you since I first saw you. Since I first looked into these damn eyes full of courage and confidence. What happened to these eyes?", he asked in a soft voice but Cass stayed still as she looked him deeply in the eyes.
But Varian become pretty angry and then pushed Hector away from her.
"Stop that!", he screamed. "Why are you here?", he asked angrily but he already calmed down a little bit.
"Nothing. I could feel you guys down here and so I came with a plan.", he said and threw a map into Varian's hands. Cass stood up and she and Varian looked at the map.
"Not many people know about these tunnels. They're leading all way to the dark kingdom. And that is the place where we have to go."
"Why Hector? We have to defeat Zhan Tiri so...", Cass started but Hector interrupted:"So? I know how to defeat her. Her powers grew as you and Rapunzel abolished her into the dark. Let's just say we have to find all the parts of the moonstone and collect them to stop her."
"How do you know all that?", Cass asked confused.
"I just do. It's the only way to defeat her but if you don't trust me..."
"Prove it!", Cass interrupted. "If you're saying the truth, prove it!", she said as she came closer to him and looked at him angrily. Though he was much taller then her.
He just smiled and then pulled out... A music box. "You remember this?", he asked.
Cass went one step backwards in shock as she saw that box. "How are you... Why and when did you..."
But he just laughed as if he was the villain of the story but who knows?
"Oh Cass... And do you remember this melody?", he asked. He turned the crank on the box. And there was it... The melody that reminds her of everything...
Cass tried not to cry but who was she kidding? She had to...
