After that, Cass, Varian and Xavier sat at the front bank of the caravan.
Xavier sat in the middle cause Varian couldn't stay calm after what Cass did.
"So... What happened?", Xavier asked at last, looking at them both.
"I don't know... I haven't said anything wrong.", Cass answered confused.
"Anything wrong?!", Varian asked angrily. "You fell over me and screamed right into my face how happy you are to have me in your life without a reason."
"Well... I had a nightmare and so i was happy when I saw you. Sorry that I tried to be nice.", she said and then looked away annoyed.
"Okay... Actually, that was kinda cute."
"Really?", Cassandra asked as she looked again at him.
"Yeah i mean it was a shock but i liked it."
"We arrived.", Xavier then interrupted and then, right in front of them was Saporia.
It was... Kinda dark and creepy. No people were there.
"I thought Zhan Tiri didn't attack Saporia!", Cass called in shock.
"He didn't.", Xavier answered calmly.
"That means Saporia always looks like this. And I thought the black and red colors on maps were just illustrations.", Varian said and giggeled after that. "I would love to see the boring people in the kingdom suffer when Zhan Tiri get's here."
Cassandra came over to him with big eyes.
"Why are you filled with so much hate?", she asked confused but in a soft voice. That's why Varian's whole body suddenly scratched.
"We both changed."
"But you changed three times.
From a cute little boy to the bad teenager, then to the nice hero and then to a real psycho!"
Varian looked angrily away but his gaze said things like:"I'm sorry." But his lips didn't move.
Cass layed her hand on his shoulder and tried to understand what goes on inside of his head.
"Varian... I..."
"Hey! Come on guys.", Xavier then called.
"I think we have to go.", Varian then said and went back to Xavier without even looking at Cass.
Cass looked at Varian confused and then started going too. Did she hurt him?
Maybe she have said something that made him sad?
Xavier lead them to a house where they went to the cellar.
There were Friedborg, Nigel and some of the ladies in waiting.
"Xavier, Cassandra, you're okay! And you are here with the criminal?", Nigel asked in an annoying voice.
(I mean, his voice is always annoying.)
"What? Varian?", Cass asked and raised an eyebrow.
"Yeah he was evil but do you remember that he saved Rapunzel? I was a criminal too."
"He was worse! You don't know what he has done after..."
"Stop! Don't talk like that about him!"
"Cassie...", Varian interrupted in a soft voice.
Then she looked at his shyly smile. " Don't protect a killer like me."
"Wait what?!", Cass asked in shock and then Varian smiled kinda evil.
"I guess you were right when you called me a psycho!"
"Varian... I..."
Suddenly the glass of the window broke and so Varian interrupted Cass and layed his hands on her mouth.
"Shut up Cassie. Tell me later, we're not alone!"
Everyone hid somewhere, under the table or somewhere else.
But Cassandra pushed Varian against the wall and screamed:"Are you serious?! I can't just shut up and forget what you said! After I leaved Corona, what happened?"
"Let me just say that I killed that woman because she reminded me of you!"
"What woman? Varian, I don't understand anything.", Cass said in shock.
Suddenly other windows broke, Parts of the ceiling fell down and furniture tipped over.
Everyone ran away but Xavier stopped at the door. "We have to leave this building now!", he screamed.
But no one of them reacted. Varian looked with a evil smile at Cass and she looked confused at the floor.
Suddenly, behind Cassandra, a strange shadow appeared with red eyes. It was her shadow.
"I'll come right after you Xavier.", Cass said and then Xavier quickly ran out of the house.
"See Cassandra, I just killed people that made me remember how the girl I love left me for a job without even caring about me, though I know she wouldn't love me, I didn't want her to go!"
Cass looked at him in shock. It was sure that he was talking about her.
