Cassandra and Varian packed their things. "What do we do when we get there? We can not just burst in." Varian asked confused.
"Well, you're right. We're thinking of something along the way.", Cassandra replied. They grabbed two bags and went out.
"Do you think there are horses left, or do we have to carry our stuff ourselves? ", Asked Varian annoyed. She only rolled her eyes. "I'm sure the palace horses are still here. We have to briefly to the castle and ride on Maximus and Fidella to the lost Lagoone."
So they went to the castle and considered a plan along the way.
"If we want to stop Zhan Tiri, we have to get down to business. We need the shadow blade."
"The What?", Varian asked confused. "Adira has a sword that can destroy the black rocks, I took it when I ... Forget it."
"No i wanna hear the story.", He said and Cass sighed. "I betrayed Rapunzel and took the moonstone, which is the opal of darkness, so to speak."
"You were on the dark side?" Varian asked horrified. "Why are you feeling well?" He asked.
"Because ... I have my reasons Varian! Do not ask any questions but help me plan the Attack on Zhan Tiri!"
He grinned at her. "Wow Cassie, why don't you want to talk about it?"
"Because i've been a terrible friend to Rapunzel... I just want to forget the whole Opal thing."
"Okay, we'll forget about that. But this weapon. The, uh..."
"The shadow blade?", Cass asked.
"That's right! We need it. And maybe you can tell me exactly what happened..."
Cassandra looked away quitly and knitted over her forearm, which was still wrapped in bandages.
Now Varian turned his head away from her. "Okay if you don't want to talk about it! Your decision..."
"It... It happened ten years ago when Rapunzel...", She was afraid about that. Remembering what she did to her best friend almost broke her.
"We all changed, you too. Even if you betrailed her, i can't help you if you don't tell me what happened.", Varian said putting his hand on her shoulder.
"Thank you Varian.", she said with a smile on her face. " Well... We found out that there is another incantation. Seems like Rapunzel couldn't only heal but kill too."
"Well that is a power i wish i had. Oh wait i have.", he said laughing evilish.
"It doesn't help..." "Okay sorry, go on Cassie."
"I was angry because Raps didn't trust me. She trusted that strange woman, Adira. I felt broke and in real, I was. Raps broke my arm. It was black because she thought I couldn't handle what happened..."
"I haven't seen a black arm when I bandaged you."
"I don't know how to explain... We found a way to reverse the incantation."
"Reverse?" "Yeah... You can call that the ultimative power." "What's that?"
"The moonstone and the sundrop, when they are together then nothing can stop them. It saved my life when I accepted my mistake and hugged Rapunzel. Somhow this power saved me from the evil."
