Scarlett's POV

I woke up with a foot in my face and no Chris next to me meaning he's downstairs I sit up and carefully get out of bed making sure not to wake up Rose I get dressed into something that will look slightly presentable and then I go downstairs for breakfast and to my surprise my sister is already here "Nessa you're here early" her and Chris walk up to me nessa hugs me and says "yeah I was thinking traffic would be worse than it was. When is mom coming?" " I think everyone should be here by 11:00" Chris kisses me and holds me in his arms for a minute "why are you guys so damn cute" Vanessa asks I laugh "not my fault she's so beautiful" Chris says I smirk at him he just smiles back with his beautiful baby blue eyes "you hungry darling" he asks "yeah can you make pancakes I'm gonna wake up Rose" "sure darling" me and Vanessa go upstairs to wake up Rose "so when's the wedding" I laugh quietly "don't you think it's a little soon" she looks at me with a weird face I can't tell if she's surprised or confused "you're having twins with him and I can tell you're head over heals for him" "yeah I love him so much Ness" she smiles "I've always known just so you know, you've never looked at anybody else like that before" "that's because I've been in love with him forever but he's my best friend I was just scared to loose him" she hugs me "oh scar if he hurts you our brothers will literally beat his ass" I laugh "yeah I know they still won't talk to Romain" "yeah well he hurt you, but Chris oh if you and Chris ever break up you will be broken" she grabs my hand "but by the way he looks at you I don't think he'd ever hurt you" I open the door to my room she immediately sits up and screams "auntie Nessa" Vanessa picks her up and gives her a kiss "happy birthday baby doll" "thank you" Rose says "is Grammy here yet" "not yet sweetheart" Vanessa carries Rose into her bathroom "ok cutie pie what do you want to wear" Rose runs into her closet and points to a cute pink polka dot dress "this one" I pull it down and grab a cute little flower to put in her hair

Chris's POV

Today is a big day Rose is turning five and I have to meet Scarlett's brothers I am terrified she told me not to worry she has it under control but I'm not so sure "daddy" Rose screams I turn around just in time to catch her "happy birthday baby doll" Scarlett and Vanessa are still coming down the stairs talking "I made you pancakes with blueberries and chocolate chips" I put her down and she's jumping up and down "thank you daddy" "you're welcome Rosie bug" Scarlett walks up to me "when did that happen" she's smiling so I know she's fine with it "last night" she wraps her arms around my neck "I love you" she says and kisses me "I love you too" "mommy can you get me the syrup please" and the moment is over "sure sweetheart" Shit I forgot to pick up the cake I quickly walk over to Scott "hey Scott I need a favor" "sure what is it" I laugh at how stupid I am "I forgot the cake" he laughs "wow good one stupid" "shut up" I give him the address and he goes to get the cake
An hour later
my mom and sisters are putting up the decorations outside with Scarlett and I'm watching Rose we're playing with her dolls when i here Scarlett saying "hi mom" I can tell Rose did too because she immediately gets up and runs out of the room "Grammy" she screams I get up to go see everybody knowing I might die o see Scarlett hugging Hunter god is this how scared scar was to meet my mom probably not considering my mom wouldn't hurt a fly but she has three brothers who can easily kill me Scarlett's voice snaps me out of my head "mom this is Chris" I hold my hand out for her to shake "ma'am" "please call me Melanie"

Scarlett's POV
After I introduced Chris to my family Scott brought the cake back and we just finished the decorations when the doorbell rings I open it to see one of Rose's friends from school "Lea" Rose screams and comes over to say hi "hi Rose" they run off to play while I say hello to her mom "hello I'm Scarlett" "hi, Bethany" we shake hands and I invite her in before I know it nine of Rose's friends, the cast, and all of their kids are here
An hour later
All the kids either in the treehouse or the trampoline the adults each have a drink in their hand other than me of corse. there's music playing in the background me and Chris's mom are talking about baby names "so what names do you like?" She asks "um I'm not quite sure I live Avery for our little man but I'm not really sure about the little miss" she smiles "I really love that name" I can hear Rose giggling
An hour later
I'm putting the finishing touches on the cake when I feel Chris's arms wrap around my waist "mhm hello" I say he just kisses my cheek "can you carry it out it's too much with these little cuties kicking me" "sure darling" he lights the candles all five of them then we walk out and everybody starts singing happy birthday Rose has the biggest smile ever on her face I feel myself staring to tear up Chris wraps his arms around my neck and kisses my cheek my little girl is five she blows out the candles and everybody cheers
