Our escape

Rose's POV

"No Luna don't go in there" I say "why not" I sigh "because they we're up late now come on we can make them breakfast" she smiles "ok I'll get Leo" I smile and she runs off to get Leo I go downstairs to Chris's kitchen I wonder where everything is "here goes nothing" I open the fridge and see stuff to make pancakes so looks like that's what we're making I start pulling out all of the ingredients "what are we making" Leo asks "pancakes" "oh yayyy" Luna almost yells "shhhhhh don't wake them up Leo can you see if there's any chocolate chips in there" I say pointing to the pantry he nods and goes to find them

Scarlett's POV

"Mommy daddy can we come in" I hear Leo's voice from outside the door "sure sweetheart" I say the door opens and the kids come in with two trays with food for all of us "oh babies it smells delicious, do you wanna wake up daddy" they all nod and yell "wake up daddy!" I laugh as Chris pulls them on the bed and we both start tickling them "mommy stop" low screams "ahhhhh noooo" Luna says "stop stop stop please mom" Rose laughs all of a sudden they all turn on me and start tickling me "ahhh ok ok stop" I say and the kids all giggle while Chris kisses me "ok what's for breakfast" Chris asks we all just sit there together in Chris's bed eating breakfast and talking

Chris's POV

After breakfast Scarlett steals a pair of my boxers and a shirt Rose, Leo and Luna are playing in the playroom and me and Scarlett are sitting on the couch in each other's arms "Chris can we move in together" she asks "well if it's what you want and if it's ok with the kids darling it would make me the happiest person on earth" she smiles and turns around in my arms so she's straddling my waist she kisses me softly "I want a house somewhere away from everything I want an escape" she whispers "I will call someone right now" she smiles and kisses me again "ok maybe in a little while" she laughs and kisses me deeply "ok ewww get a room" Rose says we pull apart and laugh at Rose covering Leo and Luna's eyes she climbs off my lap and motions for the kids to come over to us they sit down on the couch "ok guys we need to talk" she says before looking at me and grabbing my hand "me and daddy want to be together again" "yayyyy Leo mommy and daddy are together" Rose and Luna get up and start dancing and Leo just climbs into my lap "does that mean that we're all gonna be together" Scarlett smiles "yes Leo that's what it means" Leo jump up and starts dancing with his sisters I look at Scarlett and see her smiling watching our kids and I'm just mesmerized by her

The next day

Scarlett went back to her house to get some clothes while I watch the kids when she get back we're going to look for our new house "daddy Leo lost his tooth" I hear Luna scream from the play room "what happened" I say "I was just wiggling it and it fell out" he smiles "doesn't this mean the tooth fairy is going to come" he asks "yep here come on let's get you a bag to put that in" I say and take him to the kitchen to get a ziplock bag for his tooth "I'm back Scarlett" yells walking in the door "mommy I lost my tooth" Leo screams running up to her" "that's awesome baby" she says kissing his head "how much do you think I'll get for it" she laughs "I don't know we'll have to see"

Scarlett's POV

We're in the car on our way to the fourth house we're gonna see today Rose is playing on her phone, Leo is drawing, and Luna is singing along to the music Chris has his hand on mine "ok we're here he says" I look in front of us and see and empty plot of land "Chris there's no house" he looks at me with his beautiful eyes "Scarlett there's no house because we're gonna build it" I smile "we're going to make the perfect escape, our escape" I smile and kiss him softly "come on guys I wanna show you some things" we all get out of the car and follow Chris to the woods behind where the house would be "looks Rose, Luna, Leo right there I'm gonna build you a treehouse" he turns to me and grabs my hands and pulls me into the clearing "Scarlett right there is gonna be our pool with a hot tub for us" I smile he runs out to the middle of the land "and this is where our dream house is gonna be" he yells we all start laughing and the kids tackle him we lay in the grass and look for shapes in the clouds "oh look there's a bunny" Luna says "I think it looks like a deer" Rose says

Chris's POV

The drive home is quiet the kids are all asleep and me and Scarlett are just holding hands once we get home Scarlett wakes up Rose "hey sweetheart come on we can go inside and go to bed" she says quietly "ok" rose whispers carful to not wake up her siblings "I've got Leo" I say she nods and picks up Luna while I get Leo we carry them to their rooms and tuck them in "good night buddy" I say kissing Leo's cheek I walk out of his room and see Scarlett waiting for me I grab her hand and pull her to my room we fall to the bed exhausted and fall asleep holding each other
