[SORRY FOR ANY ERRORS]

𝐁ROOKLYN, NEW YORK.
NOVEMBER 10th,1989

"Lemme hear you scream for the bulldogs!" The man screams through the speaker as I sat down at the bleachers with Ashley & Aaliyah.

It was November and it was the school's annual pep rally/basketball game.

I really wanted to go home and sleep.

It was a Friday afternoon and my tolerance level was at a set zero. I had no time for this but I only showed up here because Aaliyah forced me.

I like Malik and all but nothing gets in the way of my sleep.

Since the date in September, we've been nothing but closer. I think that kiss made everything feel better. I was more comfortable around him and I got to know him more.

The basketball team began to run through the banner one by one making dog sounds and jumping around.

I was completely unimpressed by the entire thing.

Imagine these tall, lanky niggas jumping around and yelling?

The ghetto.

They had on matching sweatpants and jackets. The only thing that was different was their numbers on the back of the jacket.

"Now I wanna hear y'all make some noise for Miss Attitudes!" The man begins to scream into the mic and I notice the cheerleading team begin to walk out.

I looked into the little bunch and I see Alyssa in a cheerleading costume and a face full of makeup.

"Here this bitch go." Ashley mumbles and I roll my eyes.

I didn't know they allowed stiff people to be on the cheerleading team?

Alyssa then walks over to the man who was speaking in the mic and grabs it from him.

"Hey Erasmus!" She seductively says into the mic and I notice all the boys in the crowd were getting a little jumpy.

"Hey!" The crowd yells back except for me, Aaliyah, and Ashley.

"That's they type of energy I love to hear. As you may or may not know... this is my last year being captain of the cheerleading team." She says and I begin to mentally praise.

She should've never joined the team to begin with. Not only was she stiff as fuck, she was also certified for a mental illness. She's crazy.
