Chapter 9

"Why were you thinking about my sister?" I asked

"I was thinking she could join our team" Lucas said with a grin.

I looked down at my watch and it read 2:27AM.

why does this have to happen to me?

"Um I have to go home now." The words rolled off my tongue.

"Ok I'll take you home" Lance says.

"No I'm fine walking"

"Emma don't leave the party! It's only begun" Mason says

I take one more look at both of them and I pay close attention to there faces. They weren't planning anything good. I took of running as fast as my legs could carry.

"Emma where's your sister?" Lucas yelled behind me.

"Emma you can tell us anything" Mason yelled.

I had to keep going because I wasn't going to let my sister fall into the same trap as I did.

I saw a phone booth after a little while and I walk inside it. I was about to dial my sisters number, when the phone started to ring.

"Hello?" I asked

"Emma, come back home" Lance said on the other line.

"How do you know where I am?"

"Emma you left three guys who know you behind. One of us would have found you. I know you wish it was Tyler but Emma come on."

"Why would I wish it was Tyler?"

"You think I couldn't figure you two out?"

"what's there to figure out?"

"you two knew each other before you knew me! You know I hate when people lie to me."

"What did you do to him?"

"I have to go find your sister now. I wish you the best of luck!"

Then the line went blank.
