Flashback
The bags were heavy in my hands. I had gotten just about every kind of chocolate chips their were and I got enough ingredients to feed cookies to a thousand people. I felt like a waitress carrying all those bags. I tried to get the door handle but a bag started to slip and I quickly put my hand back.
I picked my foot up and hit it against the door.
Knock Knock. There was no answer.
"Very funny you guys" I slowly put the bags down and looked for my keys. My pockets turned up empty.
Knock Knock Knock. "Come on guys I forgot my keys" Again there was no answer.
Knock Knock Knock. I was getting beyond frustrated.
Knock Knock Knock.
"They will soon be annoyed" I thought
"Guys come on let me in. This isn't funny anymore" I said.
I waited a few more seconds before I kicked down the door.
"They could get mad at me later" I thought.
Turns out they couldn't be mad at me because they were not here.
The present
"So they just left you here alone?" Emma's mom asked.
"Yes they did"
"Well thanks for calling me right away, do you know where they went?"
"No I don't, but I think I know where they are heading"
"I can probably get Tyler to tell me exactly were they are"
"And why is that?"
"Because he is always on my team"
"And so am I"
