The girl with secrets

Chapter 12

I needed Tyler to be on my team, but I'm on my own I guess.

I'm almost out of the woods. I can see the bright sun light. I can feel the gust of wind. I can see the sky and birds. I can hear Tyler scream at me.

Wait Tyler? This should be fun!

"Emma!"

I walk faster away from him.

"Emma!" My walking turned into a full on sprint.

Of course he could see me though. I'm in a wide open field at this point.

My world involves around my sister. It's crazy to think since I haven't seen her in ages.

"Emma!" Tyler says out of breath as he grabs my arm.

"Let me go!" I shouted at his face.

"Emma just listen to me." He pleaded

"Why would I listen to a two face lier"

"Emma I'm on your side"

"Wow! You could be a comedian!"

"They made me do it Emma otherwise they would go after both of our sisters and kill them both."

"So you want them to die! You came all this way risking not only our lives but their lives as well"

"I just wanted you to know I didn't leave your side" Tyler says as he vanished into the dark woods. The way his eyes met mine told me he was telling the truth.

Tyler is a sweet guy. I have always wondered why I didn't go out with him instead. Don't get me wrong Lucas was a great guy.

Lucas was the kind of guy who brought me chocolate when I was sad and flowers when I was mad. He would make sure I got home safe from where ever I was.

Then everything was fine until he broke his promise of not turning to his old ways. Not only did he go back to his old ways but he lied to me and made go with him. I was working in an office finding people and places they told me to find. When I realized what they were doing I tried and failed to escape him.He threatened my sister and I told her to leave her house and never come looking for me. Since that day we haven't spoken. I told her once that she was in danger and that still hasn't changed.

The sweet man turned evil. It was a slow process and I'm stupid for not seeing it sooner. The things he did for me and the secrets I hold from our relationship should be let free. I'm too good for any of this stuff they have put me through.

Mason is complicated, stupid, and acts like a child. I don't even know if he knows what's going on in the world.

Tyler is just Tyler. He is sweet and thoughtful and very caring.

What a great team we once were!
