"Good Morning." I pulled out a chair energetically and sat down gracefully on our dining table. Everyone was already sitting on the table.
"Good morning." Mom kissed on my head tenderly and gently placed my breakfast in front of me. I took a look at my loaded plate with sausages, mashed potatoes and beans and asked mom, "Mom can I have a banana?"
"But you don't like eating the banana," My sister Abby interrogated me like a police officer.
"But I feel like eating one today." I rolled my eyes with extreme annoyance.
"Why?" She raised her neatly plucked eyebrows. Ugh! She was such a stubborn one.
"Actually, I don't want to eat it," I admitted at last. "I just need the banana skin for the new plants, as a soil fertilizer, you know." My mom and dad looked at me with a surprised expression and my sister's jaw was wide open, resting on the floor. "And also if we have wasted eggshells and coffee beans, I'll take them." I added as I took a bite of my toast.
My sister placed her hand on my forehead with a fake worried expression. I swatted it away angrily. "What?"
"Just checking your temperature," she told me with a smug smirk on her face. I really wanted to shove her pocky nose into her cereal bowl.
"Shut up!" I threw some bread crumbles at her.
"When did you start like planting?" My mom asked me curiously.
"I just found those plants and bought them. I just looked into the internet and it says those are good as a soil fertilizer." I shrugged my shoulders as I lied smoothly.
"Aren't you just too weird suddenly?" Abby narrowed her blue sharp eyes at me.
"Mind your...." I couldn't finish my sentence, my mom interrupted us hastily.
"Alright! Alright! no more fighting." Then she turned to me. "I'll save them later for you."
"Thanks, mom." I smiled at her gleefully as I got up from my seat and off to school.

"Isaac, you need those parts to fix your motorbike." Eric, who was my boss at my part time workshop, gave me the list of three parts for my motorbike.
"These are going to take some cash, though," he said, frowning down at the long list in his hand.
I put down the heavy ranger and took the list from him. Wow, even my break had some serious problems. I really needed to repair it.
"How much would they cost, you think?" I asked him, concerned as I wiped my oil stained dirty hands on my brown apron quickly.
"They will cost you around three grands, the labour cost will be free for you." Eric smiled at me amiably. He might be my boss but he was also a good friend of my dad. But the big cost made my brows arch. Right that moment I was a little short with the money. I needed to wait patiently for my next payment.
"Eric," I looked up at him, "right now I am tight on money. Can I make it work until my next payment?" I asked him with a hopeful voice.
He looked up at the ceiling with closed eyes and took some little time to think. He sighed deeply and looked at me understandingly.
"Alright, I will do some work to make them hold for a few more days, maybe." He smiled amiably and turned his heel to leave.
"Thank you, man, you are the best," I yelled happily as I held my both arms open in the air.
"Always remember that." He waved his hand with some attitude without turning back to me.
When I reached home exhausted after finishing my part-time job, mom handed me a white plastic carry bag. "Here's your soil fertilizer."
"Thanks." I took the bag and kissed her cheeks happily. I quickly took off my black sleeveless t-shirt and as I was about to leave for the garden, my mom called me.
"Isaac, please do me a favour." I promptly stopped and looked at her.
"Tomorrow is your day off, right?" I nodded my head in agreement.
"Can you paint the front gate and fence? I bought the colours already," she pleaded.
"Alright, I don't have any practice tomorrow anyway." I gave her two thumbs up and headed to the front yard. "I will do it."
After dinner I opened my laptop to write my letter. After finishing writing my letter I sent it to her and waited for Alice's letter.
"Daffodil,
Today, Eric, my boss told me I have to change three parts of my bike. But I can still use the old parts for some time. I gave some soil fertilizer to the plants as you told me earlier. I attached some pictures of my garden, check them out. Tomorrow I don't have any practice, so my mom told me to paint the front gate and fence, so tomorrow is going to be very busy for me. How was your day? Anything special?"
Later that night I got her letter a little later than usual time, maybe she is very busy today. I open the letter,
"Soccer,
sorry for being late today. It's just that I am a little upset today. I want to visit my grandmother, currently, she is hospitalized now. My parents are very busy with their work and I am busy with my exams. But do their work and my exams, are they really much more important than my grandmother? Anyway sorry for sharing this matter with you, I just need someone to talk right now.
Your garden is really lovely, I wish I also have a big garden like you. Don't forget to send me pictures of your new painted gate and fence.
Can't you use anything else other than your motorbike until the parts get to be changed? I am really worried, you know."
When I finished reading the letter, I had a heavy heart and a weary mind and I didn't know how to answer her complex question in the right way.
