I felt everything around me just didn't matter anymore. My vision became blurry and my ears were buzzing terribly. I felt numb from the very tip of my hair to the tip of my fingers.
I guessed that was how people felt when they got a broken heart.
And I was no different.
I snatched a glass from George and gulped down his remaining bear in one go.
"Whoa!" Jake's eyes widen. "Easy there tiger."
"Get me more." I wiped my mouth with the back side of my palm.
"What got into you suddenly?" George squinted his eyes at me.
"Shut up." I said in a harsh tone. "Just do as I say."
"Okay. Okay." George raised his both hands in the air in a surrender mode.
I was on my sixth glass when I heard a raged commotion at the other end of the bar. I looked up to see Ian was getting involved himself with those dickheads.
I sighed tiredly.
I told him not to.
Yet he has done.
Right at that moment I felt so devastated, that I didn't want anything else to deal with. My thoughts were jumbled and my heart was a huge mess. I couldn't control my overwhelming emotions.
"Let's get him." I got up from my seat. Jake and George also followed me. "Before he makes it big."
CRASSHH!!!
Before we could reach them, Ian threw one beer bottle on the floor with all his force and made the broken glasses scattered all over. All of Swan team's members promptly got up on their feet. They were ready to get into a fight.
"Whoa! Whoa!" I quickly tightly held Ian Before he could break another. "Calm down! What happened?"
"He called me dick head." Ian was fuming with raw anger.
Because you were one.
"Because you are," Stephen spat acidly from behind Greg. I raised both my eyebrows.
"Okay, that's enough. Let's go now." I tried to pull him from there.
"Yes, just do as your mummy says." Greg snickered with a ugly smile. "Tell him to help you to get off before bed."
I tightened my jaws so hard that I could hear the sound of molar grinding together to calm my anger down. I didn't want to start a fight.
"LET. IT. GO." I chewed out every single word calmly. "I don't want any trouble."
"I don't give a single fuck about what you want." Greg chuckled mockingly. "No, matter what you do, you are a loser. Always remember that."
Fine!
I took my words back.
I wanted to break his smug face.
"I am gonna crack his empty skull." Ian was about to jump on him. I held him back.
I turned to Greg. "Do me a favour." I gave him a smile, which was a absolute meaning of 'FUCK YOU'. "Tell Meg to collect her things from my room." Greg's face hardened. "You know the things, she forgot the other night." I smiled bitterly.
"You son of a bitch." Greg swung his fist furiously and tried to slam it with my face. I swiftly dodged it and gave him the pass. He stumbled with a table and crashed on the floor with all the things from the table. Everyone in the bar gasped and stepped backwards. Everything went silent in the bar.
My head spun because of that sudden movement. I got a hold of the bar counter to stable my balance. I was not used to drinking too much. Stephen suddenly charged at me and gave a hard blow to my jaw. My head snapped back sideways. I licked my busted lip carefully. Of course it started bleeding. I could taste the raw metal taste in my mouth.
I looked at Stephen. Stephen had a grin on his face. I chuckled dangerously and suddenly jerked my head towards him and hit his face hard. Real hard.
"Arrgghhh!!!!" He started to scream shrilly in unbearable pain. His nose was smashed. Another one came forward. I looked at him carelessly. Ian, Jake and George came and stood behind me. They were ready to beat those asses.
My heart was bleeding terribly but I could barely feel any pain. Fighting was the perfect solution to vent my all pent-up anger out. They were sooo gonna die.
"Nobody touches him!" Suddenly Greg yelled and stood opposite of me in a raging mode. "His ass is mine."
"Step back." I signalled my friends to hold their moves with my hand while looking straight at Greg. "Are we gonna stand around all day?" I held my ground and pierced him with my cold stare. "Or are we gonna fight?"
"YOU ARE DEAD!" Greg screamed and came to me with his fist. I quickly bent a little to dodge his fist and lifted him up on my shoulder and threw him hard on a table. The table broke into two pieces and fell on the ground along with Greg. I let out a satisfied scoff.
Greg promptly got up and snaked his arms around my waist, lifted me up a little and crashed me on the bar counter.
"Ughhh!!" I groaned in pain. He was still holding me down very strongly. I tried a little to make him loose but stopped when I understood it was a useless try. I got a hold of a steel serving tray and hit him hard with it.
"Arghh!!" He let me go in pain. I blew my fist to his jaw without wasting any time. He wobbled a little then slumped down on the ground.
I swayed on my foot and lifted up my right arm in front of my eye.
Tsk. I got a deep cut. No wonder I was feeling the stinging pain. My friend rushed towards me.
"Are you alright?" Ian asked me, concerned.
"Uh-huh." I nodded my head and started to lick the cut wound on my hand like a dog.
Suddenly a siren of a police car could hear very close by. I sighed and closed my eyes. That day couldn't be any better than that.
