Chapter 3

“Hey, where’s the Fab 4?” Elise noticed. They are about to practice their group presentation but Hollie, Joshua, Jessica and Phillip were not yet around.

“They haven’t called.” The director said. “Don’t worry, let’s just practice your parts in the meantime. I will contact them.”

“But I’m worried. Hollie and Jessica are not answering my call.” Skylar told the group.

Without their knowledge, Jessica and Phillip were already outside finding another way to get into the auditorium without the reporters seeing them.

“Oh no, there are bunch of reporters outside. We really have to hide.” She said anxiously

“You know, I’m tired. We should tell them the truth.” He proposed.

“Are you nuts? We will be distracted then. We cannot focus on our concert.” She argued. However, Phillip pulled Jessica’s hand and they walked to the reporters.

“Please don’t…” Jessica said. Not long enough, a reporter saw them and grinned and announced their presence to his fellow reporters. Everyone approached them without hesitation.

“Yes, we are confirming that Jessica and I are in a relationship again.” Phillip said. Everyone applauded and made noise and congratulated them. Jessica smiled seeing the positive reaction of the crowd.

“I love her…” he added. Jessica’s heart could almost melt.

“So are you going to travel after the concert?” a reporter asked.

“We don’t have any plans yet. This just happened hours ago so we’re still in a “cloud 9” mode.” She said and laughed a little.

“Yes, so if you could excuse us, we are going to our rehearsal.” He told them. But some were still asking questions.

“Wait!” someone shouted. Phillip and Jessica stopped walking. His jaw drop as he saw his ex-girlfriend approaching them.

“Phil, what about me?” Hannah asked.

“Oh..let’s just talk soon.” He said but he turned nervous. He held Jessica’s hand and continued walking.

“Who is she?” Jessica asked.

“Not important. She’s a fan.” He said as they headed to the elevator.

“Are you sure?” she asked again.

“Okay, my ex. But I’m not planning to entertain her or talk to her again.” He assured her.

“I trust you.” She replied.

“You can lean on me, Jess.” He said and kissed her again.

Meanwhile, Hollie and Josh were still on their way to the stadium.

“Gosh, we’re late.” Hollie said.

“You had a sleeping beauty syndrome that why.” He chuckled.

“It’s not my fault. I’ll not be waking up late if you never came.” She beamed.

“You’re lying. You were thinking of me before I came.” He said. “I’m so excited to tell them about us. I’m sure, they will lose their concentration. They would just be asking us about what happened.”

“Beeeuupp, please don’t tell them that you spent the night in our house. They would misinterpret us.” She requested.

“I didn’t spend the night. I came to your house at dawn. Hmmm… seems like you’re suggesting something.” He laughed out loud.
