Chapter 7
Joshua laughed after Hollie relayed her phone conversation with Jessica. They were having a late night walk on the lively streets of Paris after having dinner in a French restaurant.
"When we get back t the hotel, I will ask Jessica what happened. It's been two hours ago. I hope she already did what I suggested." Hollie smiled.
"Yeah. I hope she did it. You're practically a scheming person." Joshua laughed a little.
"Hmmm... I only do it for the good of others..." she rolled her eyes and laughed as well. "By the way, what time are we leaving tomorrow? I'm so excited to get back to New York."
"We'll stay here for another week." he said playfully swinging her hand.
"Josh!!! We can't do that. What would they think of us?" she frowned.
"You're so serious! I was just kidding. Of course we're going home tomorrow at 11:00 a.m. I just want to spend more time with you in this romantic city." he explained.
"Yeah...me too.." she said leaning closer to him. "But everyone's waiting for us home."
"Definitely. So since tonight is our last night here. Let's make this perfect. Let's be out here till midnight. We still have 3 hours." he suggested.
"Wow! Sure! Let's have a joyride and take photos of the Eiffel Tower!" she added excitedly.
"As you wish, my princess!" he said with so much joy and then they headed to the parking lot.
Jessica was spending time singing with the guys just like Hollie suggested. She looked at her watch and it was already 5pm. The Videoke Hour was only the first step of diverting their attention.
"Hey Jessica, I guess lets go out of this cabin and feel the refreshing breeze.." DeAndre suggested.
"You go guys, I'll just follow you later." Jessica replied. But she was getting ready for Step 2.
"Okay, I'll go ahead." DeAndre said and left Jessica with Phillip. Phillip was still finishing his last song.
"Like it Jess?" he asked.
"Yeah..." she replied without looking at him.
"Are you alright? A while ago, we were just having fun and now you're back to being Miss Bad Mood. What's really bothering you?" Phillip asked.
"Nothing. I'm just sleepy." she delivered a fake yawn.
"Okay, you may go to sleep. Do you want me to watch over you?' he asked.
"My gosh.." she chuckled. "Just join Dee. He told me that he has something important news for you."
"Okay...but I'll be back immediately. I have a gift for you." he grinned and went away.
"Gift?!" she murmured.
As she already saw the two guys talking she started getting near them without them noticing. She wanted to hear their conversation.
"So? Are we going to continue the diving challenge?" DeAndre asked.
"Yes. I'm challenge by Jessica's mood. I have to get her attention." Phillip said.
"By that only?" DeAndre laughed. "Remember the rule. We should pretend to be fighting until we slip into the waters. Whoever Jessica mentions first and saves first wins the challenge and the other would totally forget pursuing Jessica. Am I right?" DeAndre said.
"Yeah...so high school, but yes, I agree because I can definitely do that. I will win." Phillip said sarcastically.
"Don't criticize my technique. You agreed with this as well." DeAndre remarked.
