After that fateful day in the record store, things would never be the same for poor Henry. He didn't know it, but the record he'd gotten cut on was radioactive. When he got the papercut, he unknowingly got some of that radioactivity into his bloodstream. He was about to have the weirdest school day of his life.

When Henry slipped his pants on that morning, he noticed that they were a little shorter than they were, last week. He thought it might just be the fabled growth spurt hitting him, finally. Oh how wrong he was.

He walked to school that morning. He didn't want a repeat of the day before.

It was only when he'd gotten to school that something truly strange and unnatural happened. He had his headphones on, like he normally did at lunch. He was humming along to the song, like he normally did. Then he stood up and started belting it.

And, dang... He sounded good. People stared. Henry could feel his face starting to get red, but he couldn't stop the singing. He just couldn't. A teacher tried to get him to shut up and sit down, and when he didn't, she pulled him to the office.

It was dead quiet, while he was waiting for the principal. Thoughts rolled around in his head like rocks in a blender.

"Why did I start singing? What happened? How did I sound so good? I don't understand." Woah... were his thoughts always this loud? Could everyone hear them?

When the principal stepped in, it was like a wave of fear and panic swept over him and pulled him into the current of uncertainty. He started to shake. He never got in trouble.

Then he just got up.

He just got up and walked out like he didn't have a care in the world.

The principal and the teacher that took him down seemed too taken aback to follow him.

He walked out of the school and down the street like nothing could ever take him down. Like he was the only person in the world.

He walked down to the old record store, once again. He didn't know why, but he felt the incredible urge to go to the back room of the little shop. So he did. He was unstoppable. He walked down the narrow stairs that seemingly led to the basement. He was greeted with some very loud, angry men, shouting about how much they hated Macklemore.

Henry's eyes filled with rage, and he was just about to storm in, before a man in a fuzzy jacket stopped him.

"Don't." the man said simply.

Henry's face went from rage, to confusion, to recognition, to surprise, in a matter of seconds.

It was Macklemore.
