The first sip is always the strongest
The bitter taste hits your tongue
But then it smooths out
The taste melts over you and calms your being
She is the same way
Bitter in the beginning but when she opens up
She steeps her way into your life
As your feelings grow stronger, the taste becomes smoother
The first kiss has the most passion
It's driven by longing and fear
Leaves stick to the bottom of the mug
Like memories of her
They are potent and can be brought to life with warmth and time
