~1~ A New Life

Third-person POV
The sun began to rise. The fresh morning air was brushing against Cameron Anderson's face. The morning light started to shine through the curtains right into his closed eyes.

Cameron POV
I squeeze my eyes when the sunlight shines on my face. I roll over and try to go back to sleep. But after a few minutes of trying, I open my eyes. I sigh and lie on my back, looking at the ceiling. 'A fresh start' they said 'A completely new Life' they said. I hope I can start over here. I hope that everything will be different. I know things will get hard without my girlfriend, Brenna. But I have to go on without her by my side. I'll get through. I wonder if I am going to make many new friends here. Moving here wasn't very easy, I hope people will accept me here. "Cameron, Honey, it's time to get up." My mother says on the other side of my door "Honey?" "Alright, Mom! I'm up!" I say.  The sound of her footsteps is slowly fading away. I groan and get up from my bed, stretch a little and walk to the bathroom to take a nice shower.

*Time Skip*

My mother is feeding my little sister when I walked downstairs "Are you ready?" She asks "Yeah I guess I am, I am a little nervous though." I tell her. She gets up and puts her hands on my shoulders "I get it, but you will be totally fine. Just be yourself and try not to flirt with too many girls." She laughs "Mom, I have a girlfriend remember." I tell her "They don't know that. Good luck, Honey." she smiles and kisses my forehead "Mom." I say wiping her kiss away "Sorry." She laughs "Cammy!" My little sister, Clarke, says. I smile and walk toward her and pick her up from the chair. She smiles and wraps her arms around me "I'll miss you, Cammy." She says "I'll miss you too Clarke. You promise me you'll behave?" I ask her. She stands on the chair and looks at me and nods. I smile "Good girl." I say and hold up my hand. She gives me a high five and jumps off the chair "Where's Dad?" I ask my mother "He left early for work. He wishes you good luck, Honey." She says and hands me the keys. I thank her and walk outside. I can't believe mom trusts me with the car! It's Grandpa's old car, I've dreamt of driving this thing ever since I was a kid! I remember the days where Grandpa let me drive in the parking line sometimes. I started the car, I saw my mother standing in the doorway with my little sister on her arm waving me goodbye. I smiled a little and drove away from my house. While I was driving I looked around the neighborhood. Children were walking on the streets with their parents or playing with each other while their parents watched. I can get used to this.

That's when my phone rang. I answered it and put my phone on speaker, keeping my eyes on the road. "Hey, Bren!" I say "Hey Cammy! How are you? Are you excited to go to your new school? How did you sleep? Is it a nice neighborhood?" She asks "Wow, that were a lot of questions! Uh, I am really good. I am very nervous to go to my new school, I slept alright and it is a very nice neighborhood." I tell her "That's very good to hear!" She says "Yeah, how are you?" I ask her "A little sad because you aren't here but I'll survive." She says "I'll miss you, you do realize that right?" "Of course, I'll miss you too. Me moving away isn't the end of our relationship, remember that. And please, don't get in too much trouble alright? I will not be there to talk you out of it." I tell her "I'll try. Be safe alright?" She says "Of course. Bye, princess." "Bye Cammy. Tell me everything tonight!" She says and ends the phone call. After a while of driving, I arrive at the school. I park the car at the Parking line and take a deep breath before stepping out of the car. There are so many people here. I bite my bottom lip, I am so nervous! But I walk into the school anyway, everybody is talking to each other and standing with each other. But that's when I bumped into someone. I dropped my keys "Oh god, sorry dude, I didn't see you." the person I bumped into says.
