Chapter 12: Agents Of The Church

"Again what can I do for you?" Sona asked the two cloaked people both female one with blonde hair and one with blue and green hair "we are agents of the church and we are on a mission" said the blonde one "so we ask that you and your peerage stay out of church business" said the woman with blue and green hair rudely. That ticked Sona off a bit "fine we won't interfere but you better tell Rias Gremory's peerage" Sona said crossing her arms "we will talk to her later tomorrow" the blonde girl said "I will warn you do not cause any trouble or there will be consequences" Sona said. The woman with the blue and green hair placed her hand on her sword "is that a threat if you devils attack us there will be punishment" she said Sona and Tsubaki laughed "don't worry about us devils" Sona said "you should worry about your sins, the sight of a bright flame at night and the sound of a motorcycle" Tsubaki said "what do you mean?" the blonde asked "you'll figure it out" Sona said "Momo show our guests to the door" Sona told her servant "yes president" Momo said leading the two church members out. "He'll kill them" Tsubaki said "the blonde one is naive she'll live but the other one she seems cocky and arrogant" Sona responded "you don't think Y/N will do something rash?" Momo asked "it's not Y/N I'm worried about it's Zarathos how will he react to warriors who follow his brothers and sisters" Sona said. The three girls sighed as they knew something big was going to happen and they'd have to protect the school from it.

I woke up this morning and got ready for the day honestly it seemed like it was going to be a normal day which I honestly need. I don't mind going out and punishing the guilty but lately there seems to be a lot of fallen angels bullets and knives are okay but dealing with light spears sucks. Right now I was eating my lunch with Sophie when we felt a strange source of holy power "did you feel that?" Sophie asked me "yeah I did, I wonder where it's coming from" I said Sophie closed her eyes then opened them "it's coming from the old school building the power seems to be in the form of two swords" Sophie said. When she said that I knew where the power was coming from "it's the guys at the Occult Research Club, I'll go check on them do you want to come?" I asked "no but I will keep an eye on you from a distance" Sophie answered.

Time Skip

I ran over to the old school building and entered the Occult Research Club room. When I got to the main room I saw everyone but Kiba plus to girls each had a sword with them. When everyone turned their attention to me a girl with blue hair ran over to me and put her sword to my neck "it seems like every time I come here to check up on you someone always tries to kill me" I said "you have a sense of humor even though you could die" the girl said "listen girl I don't know everyone has tried to kill me but they've always failed" I told her "please release him Y/N is a friend and an honorary member of this club" Rias said. The girl moved her sword "so is he also in your peerage?" the other girl asked "no Y/N isn't a peerage member" Rias answered "he's a lot more special than that" Akeno added "either way we must continue with our business since he's a member of your club he can stay" the girl who tried to kill me said "geesh I feel real special" I said sitting down as I did Koneko sat down on my lap and Akeno got close to my side "man your lucky" Issei said "I don't feel lucky" I responded.

Small Time Skip

So apparently one of those girls from thr church was friends with Issei when they were children and she was also the girl from the picture we saw yesterday. I can't say she was to happy to find out Issei had become a devil or the fact he was still a pervert. Their names were Irina Shidou and Xenovia Quarta their mission was to retrieve stollen Excalibur swords that were taken by fallen angels. The reason they came here was to tell the devil leaders of this territory to not interfere with their mission. I could tell there was tension when the Xenovia girl brought up the idea of Rias working with the fallen angels that angered Rias I felt like a fight was going to happen if I didn't do anything so I stepped up "okay we get it they won't get in your way, they would never work with the fallen angels, now please there doesn't have to be a fight" I said the girls nodded and we're about to leave when Asia started talking to me "that was close Y/N luckily there wasn't any conflict" she told me. When Asia started talking the two girls stopped "are you Asia Argento?" Xenovia asked "yes I am" Asia answered "your that witch that was exiled from the church because your powers healed a devil" Irina said "yes I healed a devil" Asia said I could tell she was getting anxious "do you still believe in God?" Xenovia asked "what are you talking about she's a devil she can't believe in God" Irina spoke up "no it's okay sometimes those who have fallen still believe in the lord" Xenovia responded "now miss Argento do you still believe in God?" Xenovia asked again "yes, yes I do still believe even though I died and was reincarnated as a devil I still can't let go of my faith" Asia answered upset. I went over to Asia to comfort her "then if you want I can end your life so that you can receive God's judgement" Xenovia said which angered all of us "now wait just a minute you won't kill Asia she's done no wrong l" I said "yeah there's no way in hell we'll let you hurt Asia" Issei said "we'll end you" Koneko said "if she wants to be forgiven by God then it's best if I kill her with my Excalibur Destruction" Xenovia said "there will be no killing" a voice said. We looked to find the source of the voice and it was an angry Kiba "who do you think you are?" Xenovia asked "your superior" Kiba answered.
