Chapter 44: Last Day Of Summer (18+)

The Beach

Today is the last day of summer vacation for the members of the occult research club. From stopping another great war, to fighting a god, stoping a nun crazed devil and his anarchist supporter, to saving their friends from being stuck as a mindless and being of pure fire, to eventually stopping an evil curse and surviving an empty dimension where life can't exist. They've been through just about it all.

Out on the beach we see everyone playing, relaxing and having fun. Y/N is teaching Koneko and Xenovia how to swim while Akeno clings to his back her swimsuits top barely staying on. Issei is rubbing tanning lotion on Rias's back trying to not die from blood loss. Asia, Gasper and Rossweisse are playing in the ocean. Kiba is relaxing in the shade reading a book on sword fighting.

Sadly Sophie wasn't there with her friends she was busy in heaven having some very important business to deal with.

Everything that I had predicted would happen happened. So far I put sunscreen on Xenovia then Akeno wanted some. Then when I started teaching Koneko how to swim some more Xenovia wanted to learn as well even though she already knew how. Akeno was jealous I wasn't touching her so she was clinging to my back trying climb up on my shoulders.

I wasn't looking forward to the volleyball but other than that I was having fun. All of us deserved to have some fun we earned it after all of the crap we went through this year. Tomorrow school would start up again and I'd have to go back to wearing a uniform and listening to my sister's long lectures.

Time Skip

After all of the swimming we decided to have some lunch. Kiba and I got out the grill while the girls got the food and Issei prepared the table. "I still can't believe Rias has her own beach" I said to Kiba "you'd be suprised what Rias has her brother is the king of hell" Kiba said. He did have a point Rias's family could own just about anything in the human world and hell.

We got back with the grill as the girls got back with all of the food. Issei had finished setting up the table for us "man I can't wait to eat who knows how to cook?" he asked. "That would be me" I answered "and if you behave you'll be able to eat" I added. I went over to the grill I snapped my fingers and a flame appeared on the tip of my pointer. Everyone clapped as I lit the grill Koneko handed me all of the food that didn't need to be prepared.

"Can you cook my fish a little longer?" Koneko asked me. "Black on the outside seared on the inside" I said before I kissed her head. "Can I get some of that fish?" Issei asked "no it's for me you can have this" Koneko answered holding up a tiny sardine. Issei looked really bummed "listen man if you catch a fish I'll clean it and cook it no matter the size" I told him.

That cheered Issei up "okay I will be back I'm going to catch a damn shark if I have to" he said grabbing a piece of watermelon and a fishing pole."That should keep him busy for awhile" Rias said "do you know how to fish Y/N?" Asia asked "yes darling do tell" Xenovia said. "Well when I was younger I didn't have a chance to learn how to fish then when I moved to Japan I didn't learn to fish then either, but when I became the Rider and was training with Carter he took me fishing and taught me everything I needed to know" I answered.

"You really look up to him don't you?" Akeno asked "who is this Carter person?" Rossweisse asked. "Carter is a Spirit of Vengeance like Y/N" Koneko answered "at point in time he trained Y/N" Akeno answered. "So he's like a mentor to you?" Rossweisse asked "he's more than just a mentor to me he's a friend and a drunk old grandpa" I answered. "He'll make a fine grandfather to our children" Xenovia said that stopped me for a minute "we are not having any kids we aren't even married yet" I said. All of the girls and Kiba laughed
