Chapter 25: Back To Hell

Y/N had awoken from his dream by seeing a terrible nightmare. Now enraged and in his Rider form Y/N ignores his friends and leaves the building by jumping through a window. His friends try to stop him as they follow behind him. "Y/N stop!" they call out to him "Koneko go after him" Rias tells the small girl. Koneko runs as fast as she can she knows that Y/N needs help. Thanks to Y/N's training Koneko is much more faster than she used to be. As she's running she sees a large explosion of flames in the distance. Koneko enters the parking lot and sees Y/N get on his bike.

I knew where to go when I saw those flames so I ran to the parking lot. I don't know what Sophie showed him but whatever it was angered Y/N. I saw him sitting there on his bike getting ready to go. "Y/N stop!" I called out to him Y/N looked over to me then stared deeply at me. It felt like he was staring into my soul then Y/N tilted his head. He got up from his bike and started walking over to me. I backed up a bit but then it happened Y/N's flames started to smoke and turned into a lighter blue color. They weren't like his spirit of justice flames they looked more sadder. "Y/N" I said "Koneko" he said "yes it's me" I said going over to him. Y/N stuck his hand out to me "I failed you two" he said. I was confused "us two?" I asked. Y/N fell to his knees I ran to him I looked at his skeletal face "Kani I failed you and Kani" he answered. I put my hand on his face not being burned by his flames "Who's Kani?" I asked. Y/N started to change back after he was completely changed back he hugged me "forget about it" he said as he passed out. I couldn't help it I purred at his touch I blushed a bit as Y/N's head laid in my neck.

Same Day

The Occult Research Club found Y/N and Koneko with Y/N resting on Koneko. After that it took some time for Y/N to regain his strength. When Y/N saw Sophie everyone thought it was going to be awkward but when Y/N hugged her. What surprised everyone was that Y/N tried to kiss her but Sophie stopped him. After that day Y/N went home he tried to call Sona but she didn't pick up turns out she was in hell. Y/N looked at his chest and saw the scar that was there after the wound was healed. Y/N knew he needed to get stronger if he was to stop all of those people including Mephisto. That night all he could think about was that family he had and how it was taken away from him. The words "you don't deserve this" echoed through his head then that picture of Carter, that girl and him next to the graves popped up. He could of swore he never met her before would he meet her in the future. Y/N is unaware that Koneko's cycle is coming up and seeing him try to kiss Sophie set her off a bit he's only kissed Sona, Akeno and Sophie.

Next Day

I woke up with a splitting headache I couldn't sleep well. I had missed the last few days of school and now it was summer vacation. I had gotten a message from Rias to meet up with her and the others. She also texted me to pack a bag because I'd be staying for awhile. I went downstairs to find Keiko and Sophie drinking coffee they were discussing something. "Hey sis, hey Sophie" I said to them they stopped drinking their coffee. "Hey there little bro" Keiko said "it is good to see you Y/N" Sophie said. "Hey um Rias is asking me to come with her and the other Occult Research Club members" I said "okay I'm fine with it don't get hurt again" Keiko said "are sure that was a lot easier than I expected" I said in confusion "well I may not want you to die and after what happened I've come to the terms that I can no longer protect you but your friends will" Keiko explained. I hugged Keiko "don't worry" I said "I won't" Keiko replied.

After I packed my bag and got ready to go I go outside. Before I left I asked Sophie if she wanted to go with me but she declined. Sophie said she needed to go back to heaven to see if she could find out more about this new Rider Vengeance and what spirit she had inside her. Keiko also said goodbye but then she said something very interesting "don't make me an aunt just yet wait a bit with them". That really confused me "what are you talking about? I asked "oh nothing it's nothing" Keiko answererd. I decided to let it go I texted Akeno where to meet up with them.
