Chapter 61: Before The Fight

Rias, her peerage, Ravel, Sophie and I were busy training for the upcoming rating game with Sairaorg. Since Sophie and I had our special pieces we were permitted to join Rias for the rating game. Also they were afraid of telling Sirzechs the devil king and myself “no”. We all knew that this was not going to be an easy battle that it was going to be probably harder then our fight with Cao Cao back in Kyoto.

Looking at them all train hard gave me a strong sense of hope that we could actually win the rating game. Xenovia and Rossweisse were sparing together while Kiba and Issei figured out how to charge up the bishop attack for Issei's new trifecta attack. Sophie was showing Asia advanced healing magics. I myself was thinking about what I was going to do during the fight. "You seem distracted" a voice said, I looked up and saw Koneko.

"You could tell?" I asked "I am a Nekomata and your girlfriend, I am in tune with your emotions" Koneko answered. "True there is no getting anything past you" I said. "So now tell me what's going on" Koneko said. "Well to be honest I am deciding on what powers to use, I know I'll be using my base Rider form but do I also want to use my spirit of justice form as well" I said. "If you feel like it would be cheating since your holy flames could easily over power any normal devil then don't use them" Koneko suggested.

"But that's the thing Sairaorg isn't a normal devil and while I know my flames would be super effective would they still be cheating?" I asked. "Look use the flames only if necessary and if Sairaorg doesn't give you any choice" Koneko answered. "I know I won't be using my flames of death but I might use my fallen angel flames" I said. "If you want a good fight I suggest not using the black flames as well" Koneko said. "I'll probably use gungnir and my yellow flames" I said. "I'm sure it will help you out" Koneko said.

"That's only my ghost rider side, I know Sairaorg is going to want to see me use Diablos's power as well" I said. "Then show him, you know Y/N you are overthinking things" Koneko said. "Yeah I am" I reply "this rating game isn't what's bothering you, is it?" Koneko asked. "No it's not" I answered "then what is?" Koneko asked. "I had a talk Sona's parents and let's just say they weren't to happy with my outlook of things" I answered.

Flashback

Sitri Mansion: Sitri Domain

"Calm down Y/N, you are being to nervous" Sona says to me "yeah, well it's the first time I'm meeting your parents" I replied. "Don't worry to much my parents aren't scary" Sona said trying to reassure me. "I'm not afraid of them or anything it's just that were talking about something you and I haven't planned for just yet" I replied. "You know as well as I do that the day I told you my parents gave me to you, we knew what they wanted out of it" Sona says.

"God you are so stubborn I swear, I thought the whole point of them giving you to me was to keep me from destroying hell and killing all of the nobles" I replied. "That was part of it but as you should know by now there is always more" a voice said. Sona and I turned around to see both her parents behind us. Lord Sitri and Lady Sitri both took a seat at the table we were sitting at. "I am glad that both of you were able to come on such short notice" Lord Sitri said.

"Yes father, you are much welcome" Sona said "uh yes I am happy to oblige to the will of my soon to be wife's father and mother" I said trying to sound like a noble. "Good good" Lord Sitri said "as you know sir Rider, we saw what you did to the Phenix clan heir and heiress along with it's lord" Lady Sitri said. "I may of acted a bit brash with that one" I reply. "No you did exactly what a Rider should do, you punished the guilty" Lord Sitri said.
