Chapter 13: Hunt For The Holy Swords

So after the duel and getting stabbed I sort of blacked out I remember bits and pieces I remember Xenovia talking about my sister then her and Irina stabbing me. An important thing I remembered was a warm and soft light enter my body and a soft kiss from I don't know no one told me but for some reason Sophie gives me weird looks every now and then. I woke up with bandages wrapped around my chest when I took them off I noticed two large scars on my chest and back "did she really stab me in the back so cold" I said when I touched the scar. I didn't go to school the next day I decided to stay home and fix my bike it really needed a tune up and Keiko said it was okay for me to stay home and recover. So I spent the morning in bed then got up and went straight to work.

Time Skip

Sophie came home early so I asked her what happened she vaguely answered that after Kiba lost and Xenovia tried to kill him I stepped in and fought Xenovia when she brought up my sister and the man who killed my father I lost it then I got stabbed by two Excaliburs and before Xenovia could kill me Sophie stepped in and saved the day then Sophie told me to figure the rest out by myself the last part she said with a blush as she touched her lips which was kind of weird. I went about the rest of my day fixing my bike tunning up the engine, fixing the torque and straightening the tires. As I was working I felt a familiar presence I looked at the entrance of the garage and saw Rias and Sona "what can I do for you to ladies?" I asked "well Y/N you remember how Kiba acted when those two church members came by" Rias said "yes I do he got really angry and defensive" I said "well I think I know why" Rias said "then please do tell" I said turning a wrench "I found Kiba after he escaped a facility where the church was experimenting with children" Rias began when she said that I had an idea of what she was talking about Keiko told me about something just like that "let me guess the Holy Sword project" I said that surprised Rias "yes it was but how did you know that?" Rias asked "my sister was a holy knight she left when she found out about the failed project and what it had done" I answered "well Kiba is the only survivor of the project and he has made it his goal to destroy the Excaliburs for good" Rias said. After that explanation I asked why they needed me "we believe Kiba will go after the stray priests who have the swords and Issei, Koneko and Akeno will join him" Rias said "I also believe Saiji will join them the idiot he is" Sona said "you want me to stop them" I said "yes we need you to bring them back before they get killed" Rias said "alright I'll do it" I said. I put my tools away got my keys and began to ride off but before I left Sona stopped me and gave me a kiss on the lips "don't die" she said I smiled "there is no grave that can hold my body down" I said reeving up the engine and driving off. "I didn't know you two were a thing" Rias said Sona pushed up her glasses "it's a long story let's talk about it later" Sona said teleporting away "somebody is flustered" Rias said as she soon teleported away as well.

Time Skip

I was driving down the streets of Kuoh looking for my friends by the request of Rias and Sona. After getting stabbed I kind of didn't want to deal with the church members again. It wasn't hard to find them due to their devil auras I also sensed two familiar holy auras. When they heard me coming they stopped I then drove around them in a circle. I stopped the bike and kicked down the kick stand I then pointed them "you guys are going no where" I said "come on Y/N stop kidding us" Issei said "I'm not kidding Rias is going to kill if you don't come back" I said "even you Saiji Sona is very unhappy" I added Issei and Saiji gulped. "As for you Kiba if you don't come back you'll be considered a stray and I won't be able to protect you" I told Kiba he just looked at me then created a sword "I don't care about that you won't stop me from completing my goal" Kiba said "yeah yeah I know about your goal destroy all the pieces of Excalibur well I was stabbed by two of them I'm looking at you two" I said pointing at Irina and Xenovia causing them to look down in shame. "Look Y/N we need to stop those priests" Koneko said "I know that so let the church handle this" I responded "I was asked to bring you all back and I intend to" I said "then I'm sorry Y/N" Kiba said creating a sword then jumping at me "Kiba don't!" Everyone yelled. I quickly changed and grabbed Kiba's sword Kiba jumped back as I crushed his sword then I pointed at him "you go nowhere" I said "this isn't like an anime I'm not going to just let you go" I said Kiba went to attack again I heated up my chain then flung embers at him. Before a fight broke out Irina stepped forward "please listen Y/N we need to stop Freed Selzen" she pled I looked at her "that changes things" I said "wait but didn't you say" Issei began "it changes things" I said "let's go then" Xenovia said.
