Chapter 62: The Conference

Press Conference

All of us were sitting down in this room while these people got us ready for our press conference. I didn't know why we needed a press conference they didn't have a press conference when Rias had her rating game with Riser. I knew Sairaorg was strong and next in line but this didn't seem like all the effort for a fight. Either way I didn't exactly have a choice in the matter. If I didn't join Rias and help her out I wouldn't have to do this but Sairaorg called me out and I don't want abandon my friends or run away from a fight.

As we waited Sophie, Asia and Rossweisse were getting makeup put on. Everyone was doing their own thing while Koneko was sitting on my lap eating her snacks. I was on my phone playing this mobile game that I had heard so much about. It was called "definitely not Raid Shadow Legends". It was fun and all but it did take up a lot of space on my phone.

"Hey Gasper are you going to wear your boys uniform to the press conference?" Kiba asked Gasper. "I don't know it would be kind of weird at this point and besides it doesn't help that I'm really nervous" Gasper answered jumping into his box. "You know Y/N there will be a lot of questions directed towards you and Sophie" Akeno said. "Yeah I kind of figured there would be" I replied "I'm sure Y/N and I can handle them" Sophie said.

"I hope it won't be a burden for you, who knows the things they'll ask you" Rias said. "Rias we are friends and if I've learned anything it's that friends will help each other out no matter what" Sophie replied. "She's right Rias, I've been helping you guys out for some time now and you've all been there to help me" I said. "Pardon me but we are ready for you now" a man said entering the room. Guess it was time, hopefully they take it easy on us.

Small Time Skip

On the way to the press conference we ran into Saiji and the gang. I didn't see Sona which was a bummer but I was sure I would see her later. Apparently Saiji said they had their own rating game the same day as ours. I was surprised to hear that as was Issei and the others. Sona didn't tell me anything about it and I wondered why, hopefully it wouldn't be to serious. Rias apparently knew but forgot to tell us about it. Saiji guessed that since there was less boob poking in their game, it was why it wasn't as popular as ours.

Saiji then said that all of the underworld was going to be watching our fight. That made me wonder if he was going to be watching it. He'd probably want to see how strong his rogue puppets have gotten. Either way we wished each other good luck and headed off to our press conferences. This was the time now, had to be ready for anything.

Time Skip

There we were as our name was called we stepped through these doors as a light shined on us. The cameras began to flash and click as they took photos of us. As we walked to our seats the cameras took more photos of us. I felt like they were mostly of me and Sophie. I could see Sairaorg and his peerage on the other side of the room. I saw Issei looking around at everything going on, he and never seen something like this before.

As we took our seats the announcer gave everyone the low down of what would be happening. Rias and Sairaorg would go first and talk about the upcoming rating game. After that the people could ask their questions. Sairaorg went first to speak "let's see, all I can say is that I'm really excited for this upcoming match against the Gremory family and can't wait to use all my strength against them" he said.

Rias was next to speak "I am so honored to be fighting against the Bael family and look forward to an interesting match, although he is considered top rank amongst the other devils, I have no intentions of losing, in fact I plan on winning" she said. Next the announcer opened the floor up to questions from the press. "Here we go now" I thought to myself looking at all of the people out in the audience.

The first person to ask a question was this lady and she wanted to know if Issei was going to poke Rias's breasts during the match and when exactly would he poke them. I could tell that Issei was about to die of embarrassment. He stuttered a bit trying to answer the question. He looked up at me for help, there was nothing I could do to help him, he dug this grave a long time ago.

The woman continued her prying questions which only embarrassed Rias even more. Issei tried to answer but said something stupid and it got blown out of proportion. After that this guy wanted know if Issei sucked her breasts, butt or both. Someone else wanted to know if he'd suck her breasts during the match. It was starting to get out of hand now as more and more perverted questions were asked.

They wanted to know what Rias thought about it to which she couldn't comment on covering her face instead. They then wanted to know what Sairaorg thought about the whole thing. "This should be good" I said to myself, I saw Issei begin to panic even more, maybe this wouldn't be as bad as I thought it was going to be. We all looked over at Sairaorg who had a smirk on his face. Everyone waited for him to give his answer.

"I suspect that if the red dragon emperor were to suck Rias's breasts he would get even more powerful" Sairaorg said. I couldn't help it I let out a laugh "oh man dude your rep has totally been fucked now" I said.

Time Skip

The conference ended and to my surprise they honestly didn't have any questions for me or Sophie. It was like the only interest they had was Issei and what he was going to do with Rias's boobs. I guess I worried for nothing but gosh it really was funny seeing Issei squirm like that. I had a feeling being a perv would come back to bite him in the ass and not in a good way. He should of listened to me all of those times and maybe he wouldn't of been in that situation.

After the conference it seemed as though Sairaorg was not effected by what had happened. We told him that we were honestly taking this rating game seriously. He believed us and thought it took balls to say those things. Things changed and Sairaorg started to sound a bit serious. He liked that we were unpredictable like that and he wanted to fight Issei and I even more.

"Look red dragon emperor and spirit of vengeance, next time we fight it will be in the area, there we will meet in the skies" Sairaorg said to us. "You can count on it"  Issei replied "I won't go easy on you, better expect more then my full power" I said. "I wouldn't want to have it any other way" Sairaorg replied. This wasn't going to be an easy fight by any means.

All of us were going to have to put all of our effort into this fight. Sairaorg was strong maybe stronger then most of the enemies I've faced up to this point. I wasn't going to give up I had gotten stronger and now I wanted to unleash all of my power on a worthy opponent. Also if we lost, I had this feeling that the girls weren't going to let me live especially after that promise that was made.

A/N: Alright readers the fight with Sairaorg is coming up and it is going to be a good one. For once Y/N is going to be able to go all out and use the full extent of his power. I know you all have been waiting to see that. Sorry for the lack of action this chapter but it will be worth it for next one.
