Chapter 21 - His Dark Side & My Chocolate Monster

Date + Party? What could go wrong? (Part 3)

Now to all the fellow chocolate lovers out there you all must know how hard it is to say no to chocolate. It breaks a piece of your heart every time it happens, but sometimes by principle, you have to. This was one of those times. I was trying incredibly hard to control my chocolate loving monster, but because my morals were weighing me down I couldn't do it, I couldn't make him spend any more money than he had already spent. But the moment a waiter walked past holding a chocolate soufflé that was oozing chocolate, I died and went to heaven, to all the chocolate lovers out there you know exactly what I was talking about. But with all the will power I had in me and I managed to say

"I'm okay" If the look you were going for was constipated then you nailed it...

The face Izayan used while looking at me in that moment of time, was pure disbelief. I'm guessing he just couldn't understand how I could come out with something like that when I clearly looked, well....constipated.

"Please don't ever, ever lie like that again. I mean Pinocchio could lie better than you and his nose grew when he did." Amen to that!!! Huh, when did you become so religious? Devil laughed , since Izayan owned your ass with his statement.

"No, I'm serious" was the next set of filthy lies that came out of my mouth.

This time he didn't even acknowledge the words out of my mouth, he just called over a waiter, ordered a chocolate soufflé and 2 scoops of vanilla ice cream, before smirking at me.

"Well, you see, I don't really have a sweet tooth so I'll share some of yours" my jaw dropped to the floor. But I closed my jaw and said

"But all the desserts for you remember because I don't want any" I don't even know how I managed to say that.

"Niki, seriously you can stop lying now, I mean I beg you, stop lying..." he looked so serious, that I let my moral side wash away and my dreamy face came out to play.

"Did you see that soufflé it was oozing chocolate, oozing! I might cry with happiness" I giggled excitedly.

"The idea of chocolate gets you this excited..?" I blushed bright red.

"Maybeee" he threw his head back and laughed, hard.

"Look, my chocolate addiction is not funny" this just made him laugh more and by the time he had stopped laughing, our waiter came back over and placed my...Uh I mean our dessert down on the table.

He froze mid chuckle and stared at the dessert "That actually looks really good" and that's when the chocolate monster came out and I growled at him before stating

"Mine." But then I violently started coughing and shoved the monster back in her cage "I mean, here take the first bite" I pushed the plate towards Izayan who had a huge grin on his face.

He took the spoon and broke the soufflé, he dipped the cake bit in the chocolate and it oozed out, then dipped it in the ice cream before raising it to my lips saying "take a bite" I hesitantly took the spoon into my mouth and my taste buds exploded. He pulled the spoon out of my mouth and grinned before taking some ice cream and eating it. "Good?" I 'mmmm' before I nodded enthusiastically, he laughed before taking a bite of the soufflé and then gave the spoon to me "Enjoy, I've had enough" I gaped at him before shrugging my shoulders and pulling the plate towards me.
