A gasp for breath,
Under the surface,
Take in the liquid,
Flood your senses,
I struggle to reach,
To find the air,
But I sink farther down,
I can only stare,
With my helpless eyes,
My feeble meaningless tries,
I stop,
And observe the black clouds settle in the sky,
Unearthly and new,
But not the underworld,
I can see from a certain point of view,
No longer sprawled, but completely curled,
The electric blue lighting,
Flash with a fiery searing blaze,
Strikes me as well,
I'm suddenly in a daze,
Fly out of the water,
Cold air strikes me next,
All that is broken,
Might be fixed,
I'm in midair,
With a static scorching glow,
It's darkly light,
Which only goes to show,
That I am dead,
I look down upon me,
Everything silent and cold,
I feel powering,
Like no one ever should,
I close my eyes,
In the same freezing place,
Remaining there forever,
But still,
Still no peace....
