Chapter 8

Raina POV

I was lying in bed when I got a call from Kirstie. I thought it was news about Avi, so I answered immediately. Instead, it was something a bit different. The first thing I heard when I picked up was Kirstie's voice yelling.

"Oh my god, I can't believe him!! Why did he do that to him?! Ugh, he is so stupid sometimes!!" I held the phone away from my ear as Kirstie kept yelling.

"Kirstie, what's the matter?" I yelled into the phone. The other end fell silent for a moment and then Kirstie answered.

"Oh right, you don't know. One sec." I heard her call to someone and then she was back. "Alright, Mitch told me I could tell you. So, you know Mitch is gay, right?"

"Yeah."

"Well, it turns out he likes Scott. And he tried to tell Scott that and he regected him. Like, told him he didn't love him at all. He 'loves' Alex. And I just got a call from Scott and he said, get this, he said 'Tell Mitch to come home now, I know he's just messing with me. This is getting old. Tell him that I'm tired of his stupidity and that he needs to give it up.' Can you believe it?! And Mitch has been in my bedroom for the past three days, crying his eyes out and saying he doesn't deserve to live. Which is stupid!!!! Of course Mitch deserves to live! More than Scott anyways. Scott is so STUPID!!!!!!!!"

When Kirstie finished her monologe, she was almost out of breath. I said one thing.

"Can I come over and help?"

"I don't know, Raina."

"I've been in Mitch's position before. I can help."

"Alright. Come over." I immediately got in the car and drove to Kirstie's place.
