I might just make this into a series, each book dealing with one couple. Yeah, I think I'm going to do that. So, I will be renaming this book. Anyways, if you read through this, good job! Mitch POV
I heard Kirstie screaming into the phone, ranting about someone. I could only assume that it was Scott. In a second, I heard Kirstie calling to me.
"Mitch? Could I tell Raina about what happened?"
"Yeah," I answered, dully. I trusted Raina. She seemed like a nice person.
I flung myself back onto the bed and lay there, wondering why Kirstie was so quiet in the next room over. I ignored it and went back to my favorite hobby: saying self-depreciating things to myself. Of course, it wasn't really my favorite hobby. I hated it. But I couldn't seem to stop.
"I'm so stupid, no one cares about me, I shouldn't live any more." I was getting louder and louder, almost screaming at myself, when I heard a soft knock at my door.
"Who is it?" I asked, with some apprehension.
"It's Raina. Mitch, please let me in."
"Alright. Come on then." Raina walked into the room, walked over to the bed and put her arms around me.
"Oh, Mitch. I know that you don't feel like you should live, but trust me, you do. Half the world loves you. Really. I love you, Kirstie loves you, Avi loves you, Kevin loves you. And Scott loves you too, just maybe not in the way you'd like. And maybe he doesn't realize it yet, but I think you two would be perfect together. Again, half the world does." I looked at Raina like a little kid.
"How do you know all of this?" I asked, seriously doubting Raina's qualification to be giving love advice. And advice on whether or not to live. As I was thinking that, she pulled up her sleeve.
"These are the cuts I made when I was depressed about my old boyfriend. I quit cutting about a year ago. That's how I know."
