Kevin POV
I got a call from Avi and answered. I was informed that Mitch was missing. I jumped up and drive to Kirstie's apartment, where she had called the police. They were talking to Kirstie and Avi, and I got out just in time to hear
"He was in love with his best friend. This Daven guy was his way of trying to get over his true love." I was shocked. Mitch loved Scott? That was the only explanation. I decided not to focus on that now and focus on getting Mitch back.
"Shouldn't we call Scott?" I asked, wondering why we hadn't already.
"Maybe. But they've been fighting. And I'm not sure if Scott would even care. He was a huge jerk," Kirstie answered. "But maybe we should anyways," she continued. "He might care that his best friend has gone missing." She picked up her phone and dialed.

Kirstie POV
"Hello?"
"Hey, it's Kirstie."
"What do you want?"
"To tell you something, you selfish jerk."
"What?"
"Mitch is gone."
"He moved away? Great!"
"No, he's GONE. As in, missing."
"No he's not. No way."
"I'm not kidding."
"You're with Mitch right now. You're trying to guilt-trip me into liking him. Well, tell him that he's a huge jerk. Tell him that I wish he would actually disappear, because then my life would be just that much easier. Bye, Kirstie. Tell me when you have come to your senses." And with that, Scott hung up. Kirstie crumpled to the ground and started crying. Avi came over and rubbed her back, while Kevin stared in shock.
"He doesn't care?!"
"He doesn't, Kevin. He doesn't believe me and actually wishes that Mitch would go missing." Kirstie buried her head in her hands. "I want my best friends back."
