"Hey, babe!" I said, welcoming Alex in. I gave him a quick kiss and joined him on the couch.
"Why do you look so angry, Scotty?" Alex asked. I shook my head.
"Just Kirstie and Mitch. They're trying to make me feel guilty about not liking him by telling me that Mitch has gone missing. As if!"
"I totally get it, babe. How about we ignore them and do some more IMPORTANT things," Alex said, grinning suggestively. I grinned back and followed him into the bedroom, leaving all thoughts of Mitch behind.
